Must Read: I Have Done Some Great Bad Things - Season 2 - Episode 6

“o kwa ima na anyi wu umunne”{Hope you know we are brother and sister},i said, cuz i didnt actually know what else to say..

She laughed at me,so i stopped in my track…
“kee ihe na ato kwanu gi ochi? Ishi na m vu ihe ozo n’obi,M shi gi na o kwa i mana anyi wu umunne,ga achiwa m ochi? Aghotakwa m!”{Whats making you To laugh? You said that i was having a bad thought, and i told you that you know we are brother and sister by virtue of being kinspeople, and you started laughing at me? I really don’t understand!},i simply said, feigning a kinda ignorance and uncalled for annoyance as is reflected in my changed facial appearance…
“ngwa ndo!”{alright sorry!},Ebere said..
“gwa m ihe na ato gi ochi?”{tell me whats amusing you?},i replied…
“O ga awu taa,Odii”{it wont be today,Odii},she said…
“maka gini?”{Because of?},i asked..
“Odii chi ejimala, echi ma agwa gi…bia ka anyi jema ebe uyo”{Odii, its already getting dark, tomorrow,i will tell u..Lets start going back to the house}..
..
As she climbed unto my bicycle, and i rode us home,i kinda started wondering what is in Ebere’s mind..I mean, why would she laugh cuz i said we are brother and sister? What is she hiding from me? Hmmmmm..What is in this girls mind? Why is she even getting closer to me now all of a sudden? Time will tell,i guess!
We reached the pathway to Amakabo, and i dropped her..She waved me goodbye, telling me she will come tomorrow evening,to which i nodded my head in affirmation and in confirmation to the said time….Well,at least am not bothered that she is coming, even if Amara is spending the rest of tomorrow in my house…Ebere is my sister! No bad.

I reached home that day,and food was ready already, and i relaxed and enjoyed it..After eating,i went to grandma’s room..I wanted to and actually slept in grandma’s room and in the same bed with her,but not after we had had a whole lot of discussion{s}..But i was curious to know about one or two things though,so i asked grandma:
“nda Pro kwa nu?”{Where is nda Pro?,i.e,my uncle}..
Grandma just hissed and said that I should leave her alone..I pressed further, until she revealed to me what is the real problem..Uncle ain’t that okay…So i stopped pressing her on that issue..

On a lighter note,i asked grandma what actually happened when Uncle came back without me? Blessing started laughing…I didnt even realise when she came into grandma’s room..I was like:
“nke a i chiga kwanu?”{This one you are laughing?}
Blessing started telling me that mmaa{grandma} didnt take it lightly o,and that she threatened with fire and brimstone, complaining to anyone who cared to listen about the injustice and treachery done to her by her own sons….It wasnt easy shaa…
I just said,”Mmaa a yolanu m ugbulaka!”{Mama,am back now!}..
She said something in a sort of regret that touched me,that still touches me..She said rhetorically that:
“A di nu ike m kpa! Echi na,ha biaha bia kporo gi..a ga m ime anyaa!!{I don’t have strenght again na! Tomorrow now, they will come and take you away again..What will i do!}…
“mmaa,enwee ebe o bula m na aga ozo!”{Mama,am not going anywhere again!},i firmly said….
..
We chatted for a while before i finally slept off in grandma’s bed..By the time i woke up the next day,the sun was already starting to blaze..Whew! Today is really gonna be a sunny day for me,i guess..
I hate Mondays! Tuesdays are testing days for me! And Wednesdays? I guess am always hooked up on Wednesdays…..always!
Few hours later after breakfast and all that,i relaxed, and while in my relaxation,i started asking Blessing Questions upon questions..Well,its a new trait though..Throughout the time Blessing arrived in our home,i dont And didnt usually talk to her frequently,or try and involve myself with her..The right statement would have been that i was avoiding her,but then, thats partly untrue, cuz i alwaz found myself asking her to do this or that for me,and covering up for me sometimes…Maybe i was rude..maybe i was too childish..Maybe i was silly not to have realised that she was my little sister, and i should have and should treat her better….To God be the Glory though,i got my second chance to do that, and i utilised it very well, and I can’t even recall the zillions of times it saved my butt0ckz!
…..
“Madam Obi kwanu?”{What of Madam Obi?},i found myself asking Blessing as our chat went on…
“hmmm..Madam Obi ji ajuju jugbuo m”{hmmmm..Madam Obi killed me with questions},Blessing replied..
“ga ashikwanu ya nini?”{What did you tell her then?},i retorted…
“enwere ihe ozo m nwere m ga agwa ya”{What else do i have to tell her aside what happened!},Blessing said…
“Nnaa eh! Ekwesikwara m i ga ihu madam o!{Men! I really need to go see my madam o},i said to myself…..
“a ma nu m shi na o juru ndi enyi m niile ha,ma Aunty Amara ha n’anya?”{ i know that all my friends and Aunty Amara them were really surprised?},i asked her…
“hmmm! O foro ntakiri ka ara gbaa aunty Amara o…O kwe di alaghachi uyo ha oge o nuru ihe mere.{hmmmm! Small thing Aunty Amara would have gone mad o..She didnt even make going back home to their house an option when she heard what happened},Blessing said!
Damn! Dear sweet Amara! If only you know how i missed you like hell too..Just immediately too,the thought of Jane entered my head…That was when it dawned on me that maybe Jane is angry at me for not telling her before my impromptu departure…If only she will realise that i was taken away by my uncle’s ruse!

“e enwere nwanyi m huga kemgbe m yoro n’uyo Paapa,o wu onye?”{There is this woman i have been seeing in Paapa’s house since i came back, who is she?},i asked Blessing…
Paapa{His name is Patrick} is Maci and Uchechi’s grandfather, and my fathers uncle!
“hahahahaha!” Blessing laughed..

“njuru gi ajuju,ga achiwa m ochi?},i said fiercely..
“onye ahu wu nwunye Paapa Odii”{That person is Paapa’s wife Odii},Blessing said, with a sigh of relief…
“nwunye Paapa ka ole? A no m nga oge eliri nwunye Paapa muru nda Peter.”{I was here when they buried Paapa’s wife
that gave birth to ndaa Peter-Maci and Uchechi’s dad},i said,kinda surprised…
“Paapa luru nwanyi ozo!”{Paapa married a new wife!},Blessing said assertively..
“okotorigba!”{An exclamation!},escaped my mouth..
“kee ihe Paapa na akaala nu jikwanu nwanyi o huru eme?{What will Paapa that is so old be doing with a new wife?},i said loudly, without expecting any answer though…..Blessing just started laughing…
Well,it really is funny! Paapa was getting close to his late 80’s,even though you wont believe it cuz he is still so agile and strong…I remember he will sometimes call himself an old Soldier! It was even in his parlour that i saw the first Calender with pics about Biafran stuffs…Such a strong man he is!
……….
“Odii mmanu na aku aka”{Odii, somebody is knocking},i heard Blessing shout out from the kitchen side..Hmmm.na wa o! I didnt even know when i slept off and had a short nap…It was already getting to midday…
I wearily got up and went and opened the door after asking who was there, and in comfirmation of the voice{Which is that of Amara}…
“nke a anya gi chaga kpa Odii?”{This one your eyez is like this Odii?},Amara asked as she entered….
“ura!”{Sleep!}, i simply said…
“o kwa o nani ura ka i na ehi na Aba?”{Shey,it is only sleep you do in Aba?},Amara asked me sarcastically, even though it was a joke…
“o kwa ibiala icho m na?”{Shey, you have come to look for my trouble now?},i rhetorically and naggingly asked……
Amara laughed beautifully,and added:
“m ka na ebido ebido!”{I am just about to start!}..
So that is it..
“Mmaa ha agwala m ya mbu..mana ihe ndaa Pro mere adii mma”{Mama them has told me before shaa Odii..But what your uncle did ain’t fair},Amara concluded, after a whole lot of talking on my own part..

Amara and i have really discussed at lenght on a whole range of issues..The part i miss most is the part she told me that Aunty Nkiru came back for christmas last year and couldnt believe it..She said that she{Nkiru} even wanted to come to Aba{after getting directions from my uncle},but why she didnt come again,no one knows! Such a pity i said to myself!

Around 1pm or so,Amara said we should start going to their house..I was like:
“eche m ma ishi mu na gi ga ano na nke anyi taa?”{I Thought you said we were going to stay together today in our house?},i asked,surprised..
“a ma m!”{I know!},she said..
“i na awozi aghugho o!”{You are now tricky o!},i said, not even knowing i had infused Aba tongue into my speech…
“Lekwanu o!Odii na asuru m Aba!”{Look o! Odii is speaking Aba for me o!},Amara said, and we all started laughing as i walked into my room and dressed up to go with Amara to their house…Just before i left,i told Blessing to tell Ebere to wait for me whenever she comes…Oh yes i see!..

Fastforward to 10minutes later,we were in Amara’s house, hastened by the speed of the respective bicycles we rode on{Amara came with their black Horse bicycle}..
When we entered their house, everywhere was calm, nobody was around..I was like:
“Ebee kwanu ka mpa ha gara?”{Where did everyone go?}..
“Ime Owerri!”{Town},Amara simply replied as she bolted the entrance door and walked past me to keep the unlocked padlock of the door..
“Junior kwanu?”{What of Junior?},i asked..
“Junior ejela holiday.”{Junior went on holiday},Amara said..
“Chineke eh! Eshi ole zi?”{God! Which day?},i asked surprisingly..
“taa”{Today},Amara said..
“Junior hafuru nani m ga wa holiday?”{Junior went to holiday and left me?},i asked rhetorically, kinda invoking self-sobriety..
“Odii bia ngaa”{Odii come this side.},i heard Amara in between laughs say to me..I really was lost in thought within that split second, but when i looked up at where Amara is,i realised that she is sitting down, and has invited me to come and lay down on the same sofa, using her laps as my pillow…I obliged her!
…..
“enwere ihe i na agwa bela m o!”{There is something you have not yet told me o},i said as soon as i la!d on her laps..
“Ya wu nini?”{Which is what?},Amara asked me,still relaxed and calm..

Blessing had already told me Amara’s reaction, but i noticed that since our discussions for that day,Amara has never said anything about it and has been cautious enough to avoid talks leading to that direction….
“kee ihe i mere oge i nuru kpa m shi jee Aba?”{What did you do when you heard how i went to Aba?},i said in my most calm voice..
Amara started laughing kindly….
“Odii hafu ihe ahu!”{Odii, forget about that!},was the only reply she gave me in between her laughing..

“A ma m na umunwanyi Aba emebishichala gi Odii kemgbe i jere ebe ahu?”{I know Aba girls has totally spoilt you since your stay There?},Amara asked me,on a serious note, which is decipherable from the change in her voice tone…
“kpa ole?”{How?},i asked her..
“o juga m kpa ole!”{He is asking me how!},Amara said resignedly..
“i mekawakwala m ujo!”{You are frightening me!},i said ,with a mix of Aba in my Igbo tone..
“i ga asi na gi na umu…………….”{Will you say you and Aba gir………….”},Amara was saying, when i immediately interrupted her saying:
“kwusi kwusi kwusi!”{stop stop stop!}…..And she did stop.
I got up from thence i lay,and in a move to swear my innocence on the topic and intended{though not sure} accusation,Amara stopped me from swearing..Seriously,the moment made me realise just how bad an effect my absence caused Amara…The tears started circling quicker in my eyez faster than i can control…Amara didnt know just how bad i missed being with her too…Neither of us know to what extent we missed each other, but both of us felt to what purpose we our effect caused the other person..
..
Amara held me in her hand and led me into her room, and we both la!d down there, filled with emotions…very high emotions.
Before we could say Jack,a hot caressing was the topmost of our emotional priorities at that moment..
Count to three, clothes were off,our body itching to feel each other..And when my Greatman finally penetrated her GreatEntrance between as i lay on top her,the m0an she let out can be likened to that of Ian Flemings’ calm and sweet female words of “Oh James!”,in the James Bond movies soft intimacy scenes!…..
