JAMB announces new method for acceptance/rejection of admission

JAMB has disclosed that as part of the measures to simplify its admission processes for candidates, the Board has taken necessary steps to ensure that going forward, all admissions offered by institutions can only be accepted or rejected either through the 55019 or 66019 channels or by using the candidate's biometrics at any accredited CBT centre or JAMB Office.

Through this facility, candidates would be able to accept or reject any admission offer (programme change inclusive) with his/her fingerprints.

According to JAMB, the newly-crafted methods of accepting or rejecting admissions, are aimed at protecting the details of the candidates and upholding the sanctity of the admission process.
