Armed Robbers Attack Wedding Train In Imo, Kill Camera-Man

Dare devil armed robbers yesterday attacked a wedding train at Mgbuishii, Ohaji/Egbema local government area of Imo State, killing the video camera man and injuring many others including the wedding photographer.


According to Vanguard, the newly married couple had just finished their exchange of vows at Chimezie Catholic Parish, Mgbuishii, Imo state and were heading to the venue for the reception when the armed men stuck.


A villager, who spoke on condition of anonymity gave the name of the dead video camera man as Mr. Isaac Ezirim, while the wounded
photographer is Mr. Julius Ashigbu.


“The hoodlums first attacked the vehicle conveying the bride and groom. Although the bullets hit the video camera man and the photographer, the driver of the vehicle sped off.
The hoodlums robbed the friends and relations of the couple of cash and other personal valuables, including telephone handsets."the villager said
