Evidence That Boko Haram Leader Shekau Might Be Dead | Photos
On Saturday, news emerged that Cameroonian army had reportedly killed the leader of the dreaded Boko Haram sect, who had been mimicking the original late Abubakar Shekau.
His killing reportedly comes after a fierce battle in the Gambaru region far north of the country.
In a rare show of courage, the Cameroonian army went ahead to release the picture of Shekau’sbullet ridden body, lying lifeless after the combat. A Cameroon military source says that Abubakar Shekau was killed following an aerial bombardment of his hideout inside Nigeria.
