'Mahrez not bothered by Arsenal speculation'

The 25-year-old attacker was voted man of the match for his performance against Celtic on Saturday afternoon and does not look set to leave the Foxes any time soon
Leicester City forward Demarai Gray insists that Riyad Mahrez is unfazed by rumours linking him with a summer move elsewhere.

The Algeria international had most recently been linked with a €50 million switch to Arsenal, which has since been denied by Mahrez's agent, but Gray says his high-profile team-mate has his feet on the ground.

“He's a Leicester player, that's that,” Grey told the assembled press after defeating Celtic in the International Champions Cup.
“We just do what we do, train and focus on games.

“Obviously he got player of the year and we won the league, so you expext speculation, but he's a good professional and concentrates on what he does and produces like what he did today.

“We're used to the attention we get now.”

The Foxes now travel to America to face Paris Saint-Germain in their next ICC clash and Gray feels that the loss of N'Golo Kante to Chelsea hasn't caused too much of a stir within the camp as Ranieri's side look to continue their Premier League-winning momentum.

“It was disappointing to lose N'Golo but the new signings have fit in quickly," he added.

“It's a family club – that's two, three weeks now and everyone feels comfortable.”
