Man Supplying Boko Haram With Weapons Reportedly Arrested In Chad
A key boko haram leader, Baana Fanay has been arrested on Sunday in N’djamena according to Chadian Public Prosecutor, Alghassim Khamis. He is said to have been arrested after a fierce resistance in company of two other terrorist.
Banna Fanay was in charge of purchase and trafficking of weapons. He also recruited fighters in Nigeria, Cameroon and Chad.
A search in the suspect’s house led to the seizure of different weapons and documents written in Arabic by boko haram leader, Aboubakar Shekau. A man said to be a financier of the group was also arrested.
