Jadakiss takes us back to 1989 today with his latest freestyle for DJ Envy. Kiss has been on a freestyle tip lately, dropping off two Jay Z freestyles, “Y’all Haters,” and “Where I’m From,” and he continues to keep things NY with a freestyle over Big Daddy Kane’s “Young, Gifted & Black,” which originally appeared on his albumIt’s a Big Daddy Thing. Kiss’ gritty voice work perfectly with the slightly jazzy record, and although the beat is old, he keeps the subject matter current, even dropping a reference to Bruce Jenner transitioning to a woman.Are you feeling all of Jadakiss’ old school freestyles?
