The continental reggae-dancehall superstar, Patoranking switches up the sound by releasing an inspirational anthem titled “Make Am”.

Detailing his own real life story, Mr. #WhaYaSay feeds Africa a catchy afrobeat tune that delivers the message: “Everybody can and will make it. And when you do, don’t let currency change your character”.

Ace producer J. Pizzle teams up with one of Africa’s leading guitarist, Fioke, to complete the perfect beat.

The video, directed by AJE Filmworks, provides us with some comic relief and shows the world a different side of the reggae-dancehall act.

“Make Am” tells the story of two young, hustling friends who are both looking for their way out of the ghetto. When one of them finally makes it, the money, fame, glitz and glamour changes his character. Patoranking’s “Make Am” delivers the message that anybody can make it, no matter where they start. Don’t look down on anyone.
