>>>Our #collective mission was to find the killer of the late Yusuf…… But d question we didn’t have answer to is why we are not involving the #police….Anyway, so far, we were making progress, that was all that mattered…. Now, we need to find #Adeola , that intimate friend of Mrs Yusuf who took her to the native doctor at Ijebu town….. She was the only friend that Mrs Yusuf could think of when nurse Gbemi challenged her to think of a likely female partner that could have a hand in d death of Yusuf…… Why Mrs Yusuf has now picked her so-called intimate friend (ADEOLA) was what we didn’t understand…. We all agreed to meet again at my hospital the following day….. So, they left that morning, remainning only Dr Korede, nurse Gbemisola and I in my office….

DR SANYA: (Talking to nurse Gbemisola) You challenged her to think of a secret lover the late Yusuf could have had before his death, and she mentioned her intimate friend’s name…… what do u make of that?
.
NURSE GBEMI: To me, I think she mentioned her suspect’s name….
.
DR KOREDE: You mean she could be suspecting her own friend?
.
NURSE GBEMI: Yes, of course!
.
DR SANYA: To me, I think there are still more to that which we don’t know yet….. When we find d Adeola tomorrow, every hidden issue will be revealed.

DR KOREDE: I agree.

[ A call from my #Mary came in to my phone…., as I was picking up my phone, Dr Korede and nurse Gbemisola decided to leave d office for me…..]

PHONE CONVERSATION

DR SANYA: Hello love…. How is your day going?
.
MARY: Wonderful but somehow boring without you…..
.
DR SANYA: Don’t worry, I am coming to your side the moment I am through in office in d evening……
.
MARY: Is that a promise?…
.
DR SANYA: Yes, of course
.
MARY: Meaning that you are sleeping over, abi?
.
DR SANYA: That one is certain!
.
[ One thing that Mary never knew was that I decided to sleep over at her place that evening because I needed to cool off my head…., don’t get me wrong, I did love and cherish every moment we shared together o]
.
MARY: I hope u guys are making progress in your investigation of the death of your friend?
.
DR SANYA: Yes, we are o…., maybe when I come in d evening, I will brief you…..
.
MARY: Alright dear….Just be careful please!…..Bye!
.
[#End_Of_Conversation ….. I instructed Dr KOREDE to stay for night duty while I closed for d day around 6pm….and I drove straight to my Mary’s house….. ]

>>>Getting to Mary’s house, I met her watching a Nollywood movie titled
#Hell_In_Heaven ….. She was so carried away with d movie to the extent that she hardly had my time when I came in…., all she could manage to give me was my usual kiss which she no fit carry over under any circumstances. I went straight inside to off my clothes and take my bath….. I returned to d living room in my casual night wear….. This time around, Mary had set the dinning table ready for dinner, I noticed she only paused the movie……

DR SANYA: You seem to like this movie so much
.
MARY: So much….In fact, the writer deserves an award….. The story-line centers on d damages that jealousy could cause in a relationship. Dear, u may have to watch d movie….
.
[ I maintained my smile….. She went back to sit down and continued with the movie…]
.
DR SANYA: Common, are you not eating?
.
MARY: It’s all yours! I ate before you came
.
DR SANYA: You ate without waiting for me….When did that one start?
.
[ She wasn’t replying me again ooo…., she had her full concentration on d movie….. I left her alone…. After I finished eating, I told her I needed rest and that she should meet me in the bedroom upstairs when she is through….. That was all I could remember for the day because before she could return to the bedroom, I had slept. That was how I was never able to share what we found out in our investigation with her….. She too never bothered to wake me up when she came in…..]

>>>The following morning, I woke up around half past five, took my bath and prepared bread and tea for myself. Mary slept late d previous night and woke up so late the following day….. From sleep, she managed to bid me “bye” and I left, straight to the hospital….
.
>>> I was on my way, driving to the hospital when I started remembering that last evening, when Mary was busy watching the movies, she was trying to book an appointment with somebody on phone for d following day…. She wasn’t audible enough because she won’t talk loudly…….For my mind, who could she be planning to meet? I never had d time to ask her since she won’t wake up on time…..I trusted her so much, so I waved all that aside and continued driving to the office…., then time was few minutes to 7am.

>>When I got to the office around 7:12am, I asked Dr korede to go home to rest, with d promise that I would call him on phone when Rasaq and Mrs Yusuf arrive…… Nurse Gbemisola was already around…..

>>>Truly, at exactly 9:15am they came. I sent a call to DR KOREDE who promised to join us as quick as possible ….. We waited for him, and true to his words, he arrived after just 10minutes and the meeting commenced after exchanging pleasantries:

DR SANYA: (Talking to Mrs Yusuf) Have u made contact with Adeola?
.
MRS YUSUF: Yes, I did. But she wouldn’t want us to come to her house ….
.
DR KOREDE: Why?
.
MRS YUSUF: She wouldn’t tell me
.
NURSE GBEMI: Does she know the purpose of our meeting her?
.
MRS YUSUF: We are intimate friends…. so since I said I needed to see her for an issue that is not discussable on phone, she agreed and never questioned me further….

MR RASAQ: Meaning that she thought u are the only person coming to see her, abi?
.
MRS YUSUF: I don’t think so because I made her to realise that I may be coming in the company of two to three friends….

DR SANYA: And she was comfortable with that arrangement, right?
.
MRS YUSUF: Yes, I expected her to be worried by that arrangement but she never worried….., I guess she was busy while receiving the call and never wanted to be distracted….or maybe she was still at work because she is a banker …

NURSE GBEMI: So, where are we meeting our sixth investigator?
.
[ We all smiled…..]
.
NURSE GBEMI: I mean, Adeola?
.
MRS YUSUF: The meeting is holding at
#Helen_Faith_Restaurant by 11am ….

[ At that point, the question in our minds was WHO IS ADEOLA? ]
