I later tried uncle richard’s number in the night to know if
it’s on
and to inform him about the message I received recently.
he
advised me to leave abeokuta on monday and that if I’m
fast
enough he can take me to abeokuta as he would be starting
the
monday duty at around 10:00am
.
There were no serious conversation between me and
tunmise
on monday. She didn’t call me, and I equally didn’t call her
but
we do exchange normal greetings on whatsapp like “hi” “aw
was
ur day” etc.

On monday, I have woken up very early, packed my
baggages
and was set to embark on the journey to agbara. I got to
brewery at around 7:30am to see that a car just left and
the car
on turn has not gotten any passenger atall. I was the first
passenger in the car. I sat down at one corner of the back
seat
and was listening to music from my phone and at the
same time
chatting with my friend (rasheed) on facebook telling him
about
my movement. we have not even talked since sunday
because
he lost his phone at that time and his number was not
reachable. After about 10mins of sitting without even a
passenger to join me, I was tired of sitting down in the car
alone
so I decided to come down and stand beside the car when
I saw
a car that made a turning at the brewery round about to
face
the lagos/abeokuta express way. The car resembles uncle
richard’s car so I was focused to know if it was really his
car. As
it got closer “wao! It was his car”. I waved to the car and
since it
wasn’t on speed, he could see me and he stopped.

Uncle Richard: I was just about to call you
.
Me: Ok sir
.
Uncle Richard: you can enter
.
Me: Thank you sir
.
I entered and the journey continue….

We started conversations as we go.

Uncle Richard: I need to be at work before 10:00am

Me: I would soon be like you (smile)

Uncle Richard: Abi o. So you are having interview
tomorrow.

Me: yes sir.

Uncle Richard: did you know I’m part of the interviewers?

Me: really? Wao! I’m happy
.
Uncle Richard: happy for what? You think I won’t ask you
questions?

Me: will you? (Laffz)

We continued gisting till we got to agbara. It was already
10:00am when we got to agbara so Uncle Richard could not
take
me home, he only gave me #2,000 for food and bike. He
zoomed off to the staffs’ car park and rushed in to his
office. I
left all my baggages inside uncle richard’s car and went to
my
usual canteen very close to the factory to eat AMALA and
OGUFE
as usual. I stopped a bike in front of the canteen after the
food
and went home.

I was at home all alone, dramatizing how the interview
would
like, how I would package myself and so on.

Uncle Richard came back in the evening with uncle Jayjay
so
tired and we couldn’t go out for the day again. But uncle
jayjay
came home with one lady who is likely to be her girlfriend
to
cook for us.

We took the dinner at around 10:00pm and We were all in
the
room watching musical videos at sound city before they are
all
falling in sleep world One after the other. I was the last
person to
sleep on that night. I off the sound system and the light
and slept
off without even calling tunmise.
