I dressed up in a little way that I could and
was
set to go to work. I was seriously troubled in
my
heart as I have seriously developed a strong
feelings for ewa. At a time, I would feel like
leaving her to save my live and in the second
thought I would feel like showing doggedness.

I left home and got to work at around 7:30am
but
was still down and unhappy. I have been
trying
ewa’s number with my second line but wasn’t
reachable.

As I was seated in my office and students
were
coming in to sign-in, I just placed my head on
the
table. They were all greeting me “good
morning”
as they enters but i didn’t reply to any of their
greetings. A lady who had noticed how I was
lively
with people the previous day, noticed that I
didn’t
reply to her greetings. She tried to ask me
what
the problem was but I didn’t give any reply
her.

As I was about to reply her, I received a call
from
a strange number. I excused myself and
responded to the call.

Ewa: hello ayoola

Me: (shocked) how did you get this number?

Me: oh! That’s true. But I have been trying

line since yesterday but wasn’t reachable

cell phone on the ground and even have the

Me: (remembered my last night experience

The lady that have been listening to my
conversations with ewa was surprised when
she
saw that I dropped a tear.

Lady: hope all is well

Me: (weeping inside) yes!

Lady: I know you are not fine. But you know
what? I would come to see you during break.

Me: okay thanks.

she used her hand to wipe my tears and left.

After her departure, I put a call through to the
number that Ewa called me with to know if
she
was in the factory.

Me: I just want to know if she is at the
factory.

Me: but her name is not in the time book.

Unknown voice: she came late, we are already
working before she came. I would try and tell

Unknown voice: okay (hanged up)

My activities were paralyzed for the day, I
wasn’t
too happy because I’ve never been threatened
as
such in my entire life.

At 12:00pm, it was break time and the lady
that
promised to come have reported to my office.

Lady: comrade, have you eaten?

Me: (heads down) I don’t have an appetite

Lady: even if you are not going to eat, can
you
let’s go to the cafeteria together.

Me: I’m not going.
.
Lady: please now (flirt look)

Me: (reluctantly) okay let’s go
.
She held my hand as we walked through the
health centre to the cafeteria.

At the cafeteria, we were both seated opposite
to
each other as she ordered for yogurt and two
plates of rice (one in a take-away plate and
the
other in a flat plate)

Lady: even though you don’t have an appetite
you
can still take yogurt now and take your food
to
your office to eat later.

Me: (just looking)
.
Lady: so Gist me. What could make you to be
so
down? A problem shared is a problem half
solved.
