Kendra stared atConnor like she hasn’t seenhim before. Actually she hasn’t seen him inthree weeks almost a month when shewould have been dead. Aliyah had visitedher and told her everything that hadhappened when Connor came looking forher at Aliyah’s. She had known it wouldcome to that. She thanked God she hasn’tgone to stay at her friend’s place.Connor stepped forward but she remainedwhere she was. Normally she would havereared back in fear.“Hello, Kendra.”He said. Kendra knew that she had never ranaway from him before even with everythinghe had done to her and she was sure thatafter two days he had expected to see herback at the house regardless of what hadhappened. When his eyes met Kendra’s, he smiledand winked at her. She blushed pink andlowered her gaze smiling. When she raisedher gaze at his mother, she was giving Alexa look which means that she had seen them.Alex lowered his head and laughed.“Leave the young lady alone,Alex.”He grinned.“Oh, mum. But you know I’m not used toleaving beautiful young ladies alone.”He said and his mother chuckled.While it was time to take the dirty dishes tothe kitchen she had helped Lisa do it but shecould feel Alex’s eyes on her, smiling at her.She heard foot steps in the kitchen whileshe was washing the dishes and knewwhom it was even before she felt the brushof his strong hands on her from behind. Hishands skidded down from her shoulders toher hands that were already soapy and inthe sink.
