Love Is Happiness - Season 1 - Episode 14

Cynthia refused to go to her own house that Saturday and had to spend the night with me..

I didn’t object, In fact, I felt
proud that such a beauty could be associated with my life; so that’s why i didn’t protest when she refused to go home..

We went out to so many places and finally went to the cinema around 7 p.m and returned to bed at 10 p.m.

We hardly slept as we talked and gisted and made love almost the whole night..

Cynthia was good in bed and taught me a lot of tricks that i did not know..

Cynthia was older than i was by three years though she looked like my own age..

And this age bracket difference did not seem to be a barrier in our love affair..

She was also the bossy type of woman who possessed you wholly..

From that fateful day, Cynthia was always at my side.

From the bottom of my heart, my love, my thought, my sould was far away in the Ivory Coast with Mary and sometimes when my
mind drifted to her in the presence of Cynthia, she would ask me what I was thinking about..

Cynthia: Hello! Are you there? **waving her hands on my face**

Nazeal: Yea, yea.. Am here **sitting up**
Cynthia: Then what did i say last?

Nazeal: What you said last? **scratching my head** Ehmm, you bin talking about
checking your mail and all that..

Cynthia: Oops!! Hmm, your mind no dey here at all..


**Lest i forget, she speaks pidgin**

Cynthia: Now tell me where
your thoughts have been! Don’t think of lieing to me o.

**I would then lie to her that i was thinking about my home and family at my hometown but as that excuse became rather pompous, she started pestering me that we should visit home together…**

**I sometimes sat down and wondered if i was being fair to Cynthia as she spent almost all her salary on the upkeep of my house…

She bought food, paid electricity bills and sometimes bought the clothes
i used.. I was not totally happy at the way
things were going and so one day i decided to tell the truth..**

My decision to tell Cynthia about Mary suffered a setback when i received a letter
from my hometown announcing that Mary was pregnant by another man..

I was so shocked at the news.. Was my Mary pregnant after all those assuring letters
to me?? Oh women!!! I said and shed some tears……..
