We had our visas extended and worked for six months in the restaurant of the Atos..
On one Saturday in our seventh month, we were transported to Heathrow from where we boarded a Birtish Airways Boeing for Lagos..

Even though the plane landed around 11 in the night, both of our parents were at the Lagos International Airport to welcome us..

They had earlier on been alerted by Aunti Selena that we were on our way home…

Mr. and Mrs. Boafo (Cyndie’s parent) were there and so was even my Mother from Ajegunle..

My mother could not be happy enough for the good marriage I had been able to secure for myself…

Confusion nearly broke out at the airport as there was disagreement between Mr. Boafo, my father-in-law and Mr.Taylor, my boss at Abuja as
to who was to drive us home to spend the night with them..

Nazeal: Oh Mr Taylor, don’t worry, let me go with my inlaws ehn.. But i promise i would be at Abuja on Tuesday and spend the week with the family..

Mr. Taylor: *smiling* Okay, if you say so.. I would be expecting you keh.. Anyway, welcome..

At Ajao Estate, Mrs. Boafo fussed over me a lot and treated me like a king.. The very people who had wanted to stand between me and my lover now adored me as if I was an angel..

That was life….

Three days later, the staff at our work place threw a big party for us at which we announced our resignation from the work… Our colleagues were not happy, but we got them to know that we intended to travel to London again very shortly where arrangements have been made for us to stay longer and work…

Our Godly landlord upon hearing of our plans to ravel said he would look after our rented rooms for us till we returned.. He also said We could put someone we trusted in the rooms till we were ready to come back….
