Her blood was screened and it was fit for tranfusion. The blood was transfused and the doctor said to them.

Doctor: The transfusion was successful and both girls are in stable condition. You will be able to see her now but she is asleep, try not to wake her up.

They all thanked the doctor. As Kimberly approached them, my mum gave her a hug.

Mum: How are you feeling ?

Kimberly: I’m fine ma, the doctor said i’m in good condition.

Mum: I cant thank you enough, you saved my daughter’s life.

Kimberly: Lucia is more than a friend to me its the least i could do.

Mum: Thank you very much, just let me know if you need anything.

Kimberly: All’right ma.

Mr Johnson: I’m very proud of you dear.

Kimberly: Thanks dad.

Chris: She must really means so much to you.

Kimberly: She does.

Chris: I really wish i had someone like that too.

Kimberly: You do, maybe you just dont know yet.

As i opened my eyes, it was blurred. Slowly, it became clearer. I could see mum, Kimberly, Kimberly’s dad and oh my God! Chris.

Mum: You’re awake. ThankGod, we were worried about you. How are you feeling ?

Lucia: Mum, i’m fine, you dont have to worry.

Mum: I’ll go get the doctor, i’ll be right back.

Mr Johnson: You know hospital bed doesnt suit you, you look better in your hearty self.

Lucia: I’ll ke that in mind.

Chris: How do you feel, Lucia ?

Lucia: Better.

Mr Johnson: Come on son! Lets give the jolly good friends some lone time.

Immediately they left. Kimberly said to me.

Kimberly: You scared the living daylight out of me.

Lucia: I didnt mean to, i forgot you have no guts.

Kimberly: Oh yeah! So how are you feeling ?

Kimberly: Dont forget the dress, we had a deal.

Kimberly: You should get yourself out of this bed, we got some scores to settle.

Lucia: Scores ? I dont remember.

Kimberly: That i get to push you into the pool.

Lucia: You’re mean.

I thought we had a connection but its greater than that. Now i got her blood running through my veins.

Lucia: Yes you are and from this moment i’m no longer friends with you.
