” Sir Jude ti fi ilu le” Israel said to me in his normal Yoruba language one morning as I sat in my sitting room reading a magazine, we were all preparing to leave for Newriton the next day, its no surprise sir Ajan had also heard about it. ” Sir Jude has fled town” Israel translated in English while I took a deep breath, I was the cause of all this, I took the wrong approach towards the mission.


•The fresh air of Newriton welcomed us back as we drove to Newriton that night, it was I, Israel, Morgana, Matt and Christiana. The news of how we had fu-Cked up on the mission had been known to all after we discovered some days ago that Sir Jude had fled from town. They all put the blame on me, even Christiana who had always taken my side didn’t take it this time. ” I am sorry guys” I said as we alighted our bikes, we were now at Newriton. ” Say that to sir Ajan” Matt said angrily and walked away, israel and Morgana gave me an eye, like ” This betrayal” . ” Over sabi master” Christiana also said and walked away. ” its okay Gabi, am proud of you” Morgana encouraged and hugged me before walking away leaving I and israel alone. ” Bros, make we go sleep” Israel shouted as we bounced to our quarters,its good to be back to Newriton but not in times like this when I have screw up, what will Sir Ajan say now?

He interrupted me ” I told you you guys have enough time, what were you rushing for?” He asked sitting on his chair, to my surprise, he wasn’t as angry as I had thought he would be. ” I was just curious to …” He interrupted again, ” Tell me what did you discover?” He asked, ” He ship humans, and also sell human body part to well know labs along the globe” I explained calmly while Sir Ajan breathed, ” Its good you were able to find out what he does but its bad he escaped, anyways it your first, I will take it as a first time Job . Gabriel, you are a good spy, but you should learn to control yourself, don’t jump into things” Sir Ajan explained while I nodded. ” At least, he is gone, I pray he doesn’t come back, but I know anywhere he is, the evil continues ” Sir Ajan said again. ” Thank you sir” I bowed as I stared at the empty frame again, Sir Ajan traced my eyes, he breathed out when he saw me staring at the frame, I turned to him and saw the sorrowful look on his face, I saw tears in his eyes, I had never seen Sir Ajan with that kind of Facial expression. ” That frame use ti belong to Jason ” Sir Ajan started staring into the empty frame.


” Who is Jason? ” I asked as he gestured to me to sit down. ” A long time ago” he started looking at the frame as if he was trying to remember something. ” A long time ago” he repeated while I adjusted myself on the chair as I was anxious for him to talk. ” I had gone out of Newriton , not for anything but to get drunk.


Yes to get drunk, there had been a problem in
Newriton and the board think I wasn’t putting in my best, they had suspended me for two weeks, that was how I got out of Newriton.

I went back to my home. On one night, I decided to sweep away my bundles, so I drove around town to a club, I drank to stupor in the club that I forgot my car and headed home. I hadn’t walked half the way when I saw a little boy in the streets being bullied by some touts, he was crying for mercy, he was obviously their errand boy. I couldn’t help seeing the small boy being maltreated so I fought against those tout and took him home. After suspension, I brought him to Newriton, where he got trained as a fighter,I gave him a life, I changed him, he became a man of his own and decided setting up his house in town, during holidays, he wont stay in my quarters anymore, he would go to his house in town, from there, he got a girlfriend which he told me about. Her name as he said was Jane.

But it was crystal clear, if he didn’t steal the money, how did the money get into his room?only he had a card to his room, he had no room mate” Sir Ajan said looking at the frame again, ” But I and israel have separate cards to my room, the cards can be cloned you know?” I asked also staring at the frame, ” The cards cant be cloned without a replica, if his card was cloned, then it had to be done through his card. He was the only one who had access to his Card” Sir Ajan explained. ” Have you seen him ever since then?” I asked him getting up from the chair, ” No, I had even taken the risk of going to his house in town, but he no longer stay there, he had sold the house” Sir Ajan said relaxing on the chair. ” what of the security cameras in the treasury unit, why didn’t they get him?” I asked, ” Why did the Security Camera at Sir Jude house not get you?” He asked back , ” Jason was the best agent in his set” He concluded . ”

Okay sir, am sorry for..” He interrupted, ” You can go now Gabriel” he said pointing at the door, ” Okay sir” I headed towards the door. ” Gabriel” he called after I have gotten to the door, I turned back immediately. ” I am proud of you, you did a great Job on this mission, but next time, be patient” He stood up while I nodded and went out.
