Back to David’s room, his concentration was totally on the laptop. He was actually on Facebook searching for the name ‘Udoka Williams’ to know if he would see her image. Suddenly, his phone rang-Sandra was calling again. “Ooh, i have forgotten to call her” he murmured as he picked the call.
“Hi, Dave. You’ve not called as i told you” Sandra sounded on the phone.

“Hum.. I’m sorry, but I’m not ready to go to bed yet” David said.

“Okay, but i can see you online now. You don’t even want to chat with me”
“No dear, i have been searching for something that’s why..”

“Something?” Sandra interrupted Where?”

“Online”
“And what could that be?”
“Hum..” David scratched his head. As he wanted to speak, his mother entered the room. “I’ll call u later” he hung up the call.

Mrs Robinson the mother was a tall woman with a slim body typoogy. She had a dark complexion and a pitch voice.
“Welcome mum” David said.
“How are you son?” the mother asked smiling.

“Fine, mum”
“Won’t u use this strike period to visit ur grandmother in the village?”
“No, i don’t want to go to Ndiogoro now, mum” David replied…
Mrs Robinson left the door into the room as David watched her silently. She stood before a table full of books moving her eyes as if she was searching for something. She normally does that, therefore David kept quiet. She left the table to the bed then looked at the screen of his laptop.

“Mum, is just a social network. I’m Facebooking” David said frowning.
“Did i ask u anything?” the mother asked.
“I know you’re monitoring my things to know if there is any phonography or sexual magazines” David closed the laptop while the mother walked back to the door. “Mum, I’m bigger than this, you should stop it” David added.

The mother opened the door but looked back at him. “So, you’ve decided not to go to Ndiogoro” she said neglecting his blubbering.

“Yes mum, i don’t want to go to the village yet” David replied before the mother left.
