The Darkest Hour - Season 2 - Episode 34

The assassins pursued Udoka with a white Camry. They all wore black eyeglasses and was so mean to kill. No smile could be traced on their faces. Other vehicles ran to and fro the road but didn’t notice what was about to happen. One could see passengers waiting for cabs while some who had no money trecked down the road. Udoka drove to a lonely road where there were no building. All she could see were bushes at both side of the road. She adjusted her front mirror to see another car running as fast as she was but ignored it. Suddenly, the assassins
blocked her with their vehicle. Udoka activated her horn severally. When she saw Danny rushing out with a heavy gun, she shouted, “Jesus!” Instantly, the put the car to reverse driving backward with all her experiences but Danny pursued her. After he couldn’t catch up with her, he shot three bullets on the car. The front glass broke but none touched Udoka.


“Help!” Udoka shouted as she kept
driving backward. Seeing that, Skiddy, the driver, reversed their vehicle and Pursued her.
“You are a fu-Cking d!ck!” he told Danny from the car when he passed him. He was able to meet Udoka again and blocked her. When Udoka didn’t know what to
do again, she ran out of the car. Just as she wanted to run inside the bush, Skiddy pulled the trigger and she fell by the roadside. He also moved forward to confirm very well if she was dead but before he could get there, he heard police siren.
“Let’s get out of here!” Sky shouted from the car. He had already taken over the stirring. Immediately Skiddy and Danny jumped inside, he sped off.
The unexpected had happened. Though nobody saw the sign at the moment but spiritually, the evidence was vivid.
Monica sat in their apartment operating her cell phone all alone in the sittingroom. She folded her legs on the couch with her eyes fixed on the phone enthusiastically. Suddenly, the cell phone fell from her and piecesed on the floor. “Oh, my God!” she exclaimed with a hand on her chest. Her heartbeat changed as she reached to pack the broken phone but quit on the way. She stared at the wall feeling as if something had gone out of her body. “Udoka” she called and stood up instantly to Faith’s room. She saw her dressing up for lectures. Faith had only a trouser on trying to put on her bra before Monica entered. One could see her breast still standing upright with pointed black nipples as if she had been sexually arose.
“Please, call my sister’s line for me” Monica demanded.


“What about your phone?” Faith asked.
“It has fallen from me right now”
Faith reached her phone then dialed Udoka’s number. Monica stared at her in a anticipation until she brought down her hand.
“She’s not picking” Faith spread her hands.


“Call her again” Monica demanded
restlessly. Faith tried severally but
nobody picked the call.
“Oh, my God! I said it oh” Monica began to shed tears immediately.
“Why are you shedding tears? Simply because your sister couldn’t pick up hercalls?” Faith asked.
“You won’t understand how i feel, Faith” Monica rushed out to pick her car key.
“Monica! Monica!” Faith swiftly put on her bra and a top then rushed out to meet her. Though she wanted to make-up but ignored the idea.

On the other hand, Mrs Williams
experienced the same thing then called her daughters but only Monica picked up as she was driving with Faith.
“Monica, why is your sister not picking her calls?” Mrs Williams asked on the phone.
“Mother, i don’t know and I’m freaking out. She left to collect her visa but all of a sudden she’s not picking her calls”
“Chim oh!” the mother exclaimed bitterly. As the call went on, another call entered. Monica glanced at the caller’s name, ‘Udoka’ then picked it instantly.
“Hello, Udoka where are..”
“Who’s this?” a male voice interrupted on the phone then Monica looked at Faith and pulled over immediately.
“This is Monica Williams” she replied calmly,

“I guess you must be a sister to Udoka Williams”

“A twin sister. Where is she?”
“I’m sorry, she has been shot”
“No, no, you are a lair” Monica objected.
“I’m a corp. We found her body on the road. Meet us at Fumbi hospital” the line went dead.
“What’s the problem?” Faith asked
curiously.

“I told you that something might have happened to my sister. She had been shot by armed men” Monica replied and began to cry. She couldn’t drive anymore so Faith had to take over the stirring
after she told her their destination-Fumbi hospital.
