His Secret (The magical spell) - Season 1 - Episode 3

I shifted back then started laughing.
“I was only kidding so don’t get scared” I
said still laughing.

We started the practical but stopped
halfway because it was late already.
“geez I can’t believe that I spent much time
with you” she said standing up.
“you enjoyed it right” I said smiling.
“you never say something reasonable” she
glared at me.

I walked her out of the house.
” I would drop you off so get into my car” I
said walking ahead of her.
“I can go alone” she walked pass me.
“I go to work and I always come home late
and most of all, I go to hunt at night and
sell what I caught” she boasted.
“where do you go to set your trap” I asked
and she told me still boasting.
“just get in so that I won’t feel guilty” she
finally entered and I drove off.

Lilly’s pov…….
After he had left, I cleaned my house ate
my food.

When it was 10:30, I left my house in order
to go hunting.

I didn’t come across any animal I decided
to check my trap that I set for little animals
like rabbits etc.

Every where was quite but sounds of
cricket could be heard just then I saw an
animal coming with speed towards me.
“is that a cheetah or jaguar?” I asked
myself breathing high.

Deep inside I knew that I couldn’t out run it
but I decided to try my possible best.

I took to my hills but slipped immediately I
entered turned I saw it staring at me with
an angry eyes I was scared to death.
“please don’t eat me” I begged as if the
animal could hear me.

It brought his face closer to me and I could
see his sharp tooth I just fainted.

The next day
I opened my eyes slowly and everywhere
was shining.
“did I go to heaven” I asked myself.
“She’s awake” I heard someone say.
I opened my eyes properly only to see
people around me that was when I realized
that I was really alive.
“how did I get to the road side?” I asked
myself standing up.

I walked back to my house with joy of
being alive.

“I would avoid going out at night” I said to
myself

At school
“why are you late” someone whispered to
my ears.

I turned and I was shocked to see Kelly.
“I woke up late” I lied.
“are you sure?” he asked as if he wanted to
know something else.
“yes” I replied.
When I turned every one was staring.
“let’s start going” he lifted me up
“go where” I gave him a deadly glare.
“stop staring at me like that. Let’s go to my
house where else? ” I only laughed.
“so that you would try to take advantage
of me right?” I asked.
“let’s go to my own house” I said.
“anywhere you want but just know that I
can do anything I want to you anywhere
okay” he boasted leaving me there.
“what’s the latest between you and Kelly”
my friend asked.

“nothing, I would be leaving first” I said
running out of the class.

Kelly’s pov……..
After dropping her off, I went back to my
house.

When it was 10:30,i followed through my
underground road that led to the forest.

After getting my first hunt and eating it, I
remembered Lilly.

Indeed I was there on time.

She was scared and I loved it.

After she fainted I changed to myself and I
started laughing.

“I thought she said that she was brave so
what happened?” I asked myself still
laughing.

I took her to the road side and kept her
there.

I stayed there till it was 6 then I headed
home.

I don’t hate someone keeping late night.
I was always keeping late night that’s why
I lost everything and everyone.

“if only I was at home then,things
wouldn’t has gotten bad” I said to myself.
I wasn’t expecting her to come to school
but she surprised me.

I tried making her tell me what was the
reason for her late coming but she just
kept lying.

“what are you thinking about” she asked
bringing me out from my thoughts.
“nothing” I lied.

I parked my car by the side of her house
before getting in.

Her house was small but neat and
beautiful.

“where are your parents?” i asked
“I stay alone” she answered.
“so what may I offer you” I didn’t reply
instead I just kept staring at her.
“stop using your eyes to sin” she walked
out of my sight and in a few minutes she
was back with our tools for the practicals.

When we were done, it was already 8:05.

I would walk out she said.
I would go by myself because am not
scared of the dark I said facing another
direction.

Am hungry I told her. “I gave you food but
you refused to eat and now you are
hungry” she said angrily.

She gave me the little toasted bread that
was remaining to eat.
“I wonder where she went to” I asked
myself eating the bread.
“this tastes really good” I said forcing more
of it into my mouth just then she came out
with her night gown on.
“she’s just temptation” I said to myself.

After eating all of it, she gave me water
and I drank before heading out.
“late night isn’t good don’t say I didn’t tell
you” she said pointing at me.
“look who is talking” I scoffed.
Just then something climbed her legs and
she ran to where I was holding me tightly.
“go away” I said but she kept holding me
tightly.
“am scared” she said still clinging to me.
“you said that you weren’t scared so why
the attitude” I asked
“last night when I went to check my trap
something attacked me” she said what I
wanted to hear.

“like what?” I asked pretending not to
know.

“It looked like a cheetah or should I say
jaguar or leopard but it was very big. I
thought that I was going to die only for me
to wake up by the road side this morning”
she said and I smiled.
“geez, I didn’t know that such animals still
exist” I said shacking my head.
“that’s the reason for my coming late” she
completed the story.
“that animal must be really good to have
spared you” I said.
“it’s not good, it’s wicked you need to have
seen the way it opened his mouth near my
face” she said crying.
“stop crying and don’t be scared because
am here” I said cleaning her eyes.
“let’s go check your trap together” she just
stared at me in shock.
“am not going with you” she said.
“then I would go alone” I walked pass her
and she ran after me.
“Kelly that animal might be still there so
please don’t go” she begged holding my
shirt.
“stop trying to stop me” I said removing
her hands from my clothes.

I walked inside the thick Bush through the
part that was created there just then I
heard footsteps behind me.
“why did you come?” I asked her.
“in order to protect you” she said behind
me.

I turned to her and drew her to myself.
“are you insane” she asked breathing high
“am not just know that you can’t protect
me okay” she just looked at me in shock.
I later let go off her because of reasons
well known to me.

We went to where her trap was only to see
that it caught two rabbits.
“nice one girl” I rubbed her hair.

Just then we saw an angry fox coming.
“should I run or should I stay, should i run
or should I stay?” that was what kept
ringing inside my head just then I felt her
hand drag mine and we started running.

I felt like a coward running like that.
We kept running and mistakenly we
slipped and it’s made us fall on each other,
soon we started rolling down to where I
didn’t know when we stopped our lips met
by mistake.

After we might have gotten used to the
situation we quickly separated from each
other as if we didn’t know what just
happened.

“it’s all your fault” she said angrily.
“let’s just rest for a while then think of a
way to get out of this pit or hole” I said
sitting down opposite her.
“I told you that late night wasn’t good” she
said before sitting down.

“I was only trying to help you” I said.
Everywhere become quiet because no one
was talking.

“Lilly am hungry” I said breaking the
silence.

“you are hungry right? Why don’t you eat
me” she said with a serious tune and it
made me laugh.
“were do you want to start from? You
better come and eat me o let’s know that
you are hungry” she said.

I just just stared at her soon I went closer
to her.

Then stared at only her eyes “I really want
to eat you but I don’t eat humans only
animals” I said to her.
“then be patient when we get out of here,
then you can go to the market to buy
chicken okay” she replied.

I brought my face closer to hers.
“don’t think of it” she wanted to move
back but realised that she was at the
ending already.

I kissed her again then after a while I
stopped.

“back then it felt good so I wanted to try it
out again” I said smiling.
“you are such a…….. ” I shut her up with
my fingers.

“wait here I would be right back” I moved
back.

“how would you….” before she could
complete it I was already out of the hole.
“am really hungry, I can’t let that fox go” I
said to myself.

Soon I was in my cheetah form as I ran
towards the direction I was hearing it
footsteps.
