The moment that door is shut, Catelyn begins to understand what her uncle was talking about. Lysa shouts at her, demanding what she is looking for there. Catelyn, puzzled at the sudden change, says that she has brought one of her husband’s killers to her. And she asks that whether it wasn’t justice she sought when she sent them that letter at Winterfell. Lysa says she wants justice, yes, but she didn’t mean for her to bring a Lannister to the Eyrie and risk the wrath of Lord Tywin.

But Catelyn tells her that apart from the hand this man and his family had in her husband’s death, Tyrion still sent an assasin after her little boy, Bran, even though at this point she isn’t sure anymore who is lying to her again, whether Petyr or Tyrion.

When Robert Arryn, her nephew and Lord of the Eyrie, disentangles from his mother to ask a question, Catelyn clearly sees the red n----e of his mother’s breast that he just detached his mouth from. sU-Ckling. Lysa isbreastfeedingher six year-old son.

I think that is just when Catelyn begins to understand the kind of person her sweet sister Lysa now is. And me personally, at this point, I couldn’t help but realize why her son is so sickly. Catelyn knew the boy was supposed to be sent to foster with Stannis Baratheon at Dragonstone, but that Lysa had fled King’s Landing to return to the Eyrie after her husband died, before the move could be made.

As for the question the boy asks, “Can we make the bad man fly, Mother?”
Lysa shushes the boy and tells him that they can if they find him guilty. The way she gushes over her son, sickly as he is, it’s very obvious that her sister adores the boy and has over-pampered him to become what he now is. She keeps on repeating what her husband said on his death bed. “The seed is strong,” he said. Who else could he have been talking about but her little Robert?
It’s now Catelyn who has to bring the discussion back around to Tyrion Lannister, berating her sister on her childish thinking about her bringing the dwarf to face her justice. Now it’sCatelynwho Lysa shushes, telling her that she’s scaring the “baby”, a six-year-old boy sU-Ckling at his mother’s breast.

Even though the boy hadn’t been sent to Lord Stannis, Robert Baratheon’s brother, Catelyn knew the reason a foster home was being sought for him was to take him away from his mother and make a man of him in a place where he could grow up with other boys his own age, just the same way her Ned and Robert had fostered here in the Eyrie with Jon Arryn.
So she makes the suggestion of Robert coming to stay with her at Winterfell instead. She’s his aunt, and she has a son herself who is of an age with Robert. But Lysa vehemently disagrees, saying that the boy is only six. Catelyn can’t believe her ears. She tells her sister that her son Rickon may be three, but he is a deal braver and stronger than Lysa’s Robert.
Eventually, it becomes plain that there is no reasoning with Lysa on that subject. Come next day, Tyrion Lannister would be brought up for a trial, where Robert would pronounce him either innocent or guilty as Lord of the Eyrie.

And so Catelyn Stark is shown to her quarters, where she can spend the night after an incredibly long, exhausting day.
