'Tinsel' Season 10 Episode 2069 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 28 June 2017

Salewa is home, working on her laptop.
Maami enters with a set of wrappers and says they are aso-ebi for her friend's daughter's wedding.
Salewa asks what they have to do with her.
Maami says they will attend the event together, maybe Salewa can find someone there.
She sees the look on Salewa face and starts crying.
She asks Salewa if she doesn't want her to become a grandmother.




Brenda tells Charles that she will want him to release Alexis from her contact for the next 3 months.
He says he doesn't understand.
She tells him to just call Serena and tell her that the contract will not start till a new date that she (Brenda) will give him.
He asks why he would do that.
Brenda says it's in Alexis' best interest as she got signed to Odyssey on a whim now Charles doesn't even know what to do with her.
He asks why she's saying that.
Brenda says that's why he has come to her; he's not sure what he wants so he should let her work and everybody benefits.
He says it seems only Alexis and Phoenix Prime would benefit from it so if she's ready to include Odyssey, she should give him a call and till then, they have nothing more to discuss.
He walks out.


Shoshanna comes to see Salewa.
She meets Maami who tells her that Salewa accompanied Helen to go and see her supervisor.
Sho asks her if anything is wrong.
Maami says she heard Sho is a makeup artist.
Sho affirms.
Maami asks if she can make a young person look old.
Sho says she can.
Maami says she will talk to Bash to hire her.
Sho hugs her in gratitude.


Sheila is dressed up and ready to go out.
la!de asks if she's going to see Nero.
Sheila says she doesn't know what she means.
la!de says she's not blind and they make a lovely couple.
Sheila ignores the statement and says she will see her later.
la!de chuckles and tells her to have fun


Sheila and Joanne are out having drinks.
Sheila asks Joanne for the new man in her life.
Joanne says there is someone but she's undecided.
Sheila says sometimes she wishes she could be like her and not take things too seriously.
Joanne asks what it's about.
Sheila says Amaka called her and she couldn't answer because she felt guilty about Nero.
Joanne tells her to save the guilt till something really happens with her and Nero.


Nnenna asks Charles how it went with Brenda.
Charles says he didn't agree to the deal as her offer was a joke.
Nnenna asks what they would do now.
Charles says they will wait because Brenda will come.
Nnenna says with Brenda one can't be sure.


Salewa calls her grandfather on the phone and tells him to come and take his wife away. She asks why he became a womaniser.
He says his wife left him all alone so she could become a celebrity in Lagos.
Salewa says Maami is not a celebrity as she thinks about him all day.
He says Maami can marry her TV show.


Sheila gets home and calls Amaka.
Amaka asks if she was busy earlier when she called.
Sheila says she was a bit tied up.
Amaka says she wanted to check up on Tochi.
Sheila says he's fine.
She asks how the honeymoon is.
Amaka says it's great and Dikibo wants them to visit more countries.
Sheila says it reminds her of her own honeymoon with Fred in Sun City.
Amaka asks if she has seen Nero.
Sheila says she has to go.


Brenda calls IK to tell him that Charles refused to play ball.
IK says it's odd.
Brenda says Charles is just flexing his newfound power.


Serena comes to see Charles.
He asks if everything is alright.
She says she has come to discuss the contract.
He asks what about it.
She says she has been thinking and she hopes she made the right decision as it's her daughter's future they are talking about.
He asks what exactly she's worried about.
She tells him to assure her that she made the right decision and will not regret it.
He tells her it's the best decision she has made for her daughter.


Sheila gets a call from Nero.
He asks if she's still up for dinner.
She asks if she can take a rain check.
He asks if everything is alright.
She asks if he thinks they should be seeing this much of each other.
He asks what's wrong.
She says Amaka.
He asks if she saw anything.
Sheila says she doesn't know anything.
Nero says he's coming to pick her up.


Maami returns home to meet Salewa in the living room.
She asks if Salewa has spoken to Baami.
Salewa says she spoke with him and he says he won't be coming to Lagos.
Maami asks what will happen now.
Salewa tells her to just let things be as it seems they have both moved on.
Maami asks if Salewa wants her marriage to pack up the same way Titi's own did.


Brenda calls Victoria and asks if they have the footage of the auditions from the other children.
Victoria says she does.
Brenda says they will use another kid to show Charles and Odyssey that Alexis is not the only one in town with some talent.
Victoria says what if the Investors don't want another kid.
Brenda says they have no choice; she'd be damned the day that her company is held hostage by an 8 year old and her mother.


Nero brings Sheila to his place
She says she still doesn't understand why he brought her there.
He says she keeps over thinking things at her place.
She says she doesn't know what kind of rules Amaka has about stuff like this, especially now that they know she is feeling some type or way.
Nero asks what type of way.
Sheila says she doesn't know if Amaka is a strong believer in the girl code.
Nero says he doesn't care about the girl code.
Sheila says what if she does.
Nero says last he checked she was a woman and not a girl.
He gives her his most charming smile.
Sheila has no choice but to smile also.
