Movie Story: Jemeji - Season 1 - Episode 68

Senami treats Oviyon's head wound.
He says Neza deserved what he got and he can't wait to hear what Neza says at the meeting.

Senami says she's not ready to hear apologies from people who tried to set her on fire and she's sure if the villagers and Neza had a chance, they would do what they did all over again.
Oviyon says that's why they need to face the people at the meeting.
Senami says she doesn't think that's the solution.
He asks what the solution is, she leaves Aji and leaves him?
She doesn't respond.

Peace comes to the Lodge and meets Folake.
She asks if Folake is okay.
Folake says she is.

Peace turns to leave
Folake calls her back and says she's sorry for how she treated her.
Peace accepts the apology.
Folake asks what she's up to.
Peace says she's going for the meeting at Chief's Palace.
Senami arrives and Folake tells her that they are going to the meeting.
She goes in to get ready.

Peace asks Senami why she wasn't to spoil her own? she would have been married to Oviyon by now if Senami didn't come to Aji.
Senami says all she has done is to help the people of Aji.
Folake returns and leaves with Peace.

Fonton stops Zansi as she is walking past his house.
Zansi tells him they could have died in the clinic.
Petunia comes out and tells her not to blame Fonton for it.
Zansi tells Fonton to warn his small girl.
Fonton tells her not to talk to his wife that way and for her information, Akweyon started the fire.

Zansi leaves and Petu tells Fonton to go for the meeting.
Fonton asks if she's not coming.
Petu says she's not going.
Fonton asks if she wants him to face the people alone.
Petu gestures for him to go.

Neza drags the sack of blood bags to Mausi's shrine.
She asks why he brought all that when she only asked for Otogan and Miyise's blood.
Neza says the blood bags have the names of the donors written on them.
He takes one bag out and sees just a number written on it.
He gets confused.

The villagers are gathered in front of Otogan's Palace.
Folake has her phone out, recoding a video.

Oviyon and Senami are on their way.
Senami says she's angry.
Oviyon tells her that she needs to go and face the villagers.
Senami asks if his mother will be there.
He asks why.
She says it's nothing.

Otogan comes out to address the people.
He says when he heard his people were behaving like animals, he was disappointed and it was Miyise who suggested the meeting.
He says they need to hear from the victims first.
Zansi says they were only doing their job when all hell broke lose.
Seyive says she was scared for her life.
Senami says she came Aji to serve and she decided to start a blood drive after Francis died but she got to the clinic this morning and saw all she worked for and all the equipment she got from Kingsley have been destroyed.

One of the villagers asks about the blood.
Senami says it was stolen and the person who did it wanted to make it seem like she was the one.
Oviyon says some trouble makers started it all and his uncle has been fighting him for land so maybe it was his plan to get rid of him.
Fonton warns Oviyon not to accuse him.
Senami says Fonton hung around the clinic all day and didn't donate any blood.
Fonton says he wasn't the one and he swears on his brother's grave.
Oviyon warns him not to mention his father
Otogan sends for Neza.

Neza arrives and Otogan asks if he was the one who mentioned the missing blood.
Neza says he did but didn't start the riot, it was Fonton.
All the while, Neza has been speaking Patois.
Otogan hits him on the head and tells him to speak sensibly.
Neza switches to proper English and says he didn't start the riot.

Fonton starts his speech by talking about his status in Aji.
Chief tells him to go straight to the point.
Fonton says Doris fainted, then they heard blood got missing so he gathered everyone to the clinic to ask for the blood as per Mausi's orders.
Otogan says Mausi speaks to only him concerning Aji matters and he was with her during the riot and she never mentioned it.

Doris says she wants to say something.
Fonton interrupts her and says he doesn't want anyone to implicate him as he's an old man who is too week to mobilise a large crowd.
Doris gets intimidated and refuses to speak.

Peace says it was Fonton who told everyone to go to the clinic and he also told them to shout and ask for their blood and she even told him Oviyon was in the clinic but he didn't care.
Fonton asks her why she is talking that way when they are all one family.
Iya Oviyon tells him to keep quiet.

Otogan and Obi have a private discussion.
Otogan tells Fonton that he's sick and tired of his disrespect lately.
He asks if he has paid Oviyon his money.
Fonton stutters.
Otogan says Fonton will pay to fix the clinic and even carry out physical labour.
Fonton asks where he would find the money.
Otogan says until he repents and they see he's sorry, they will seize his land.
Fonton breaks into Aji expletives.

Peace and Folake are leaving the Palace.
They laugh at what happened to Fonton.
Petu runs after them and grabs Peace by the neck.

Oviyon's mother pulls Peace away and faces Petunia.
They almost come to blows but Fonton gets in between them and they exchange harsh words.

Oviyon and Senami are on their way home.
Oviyon tells her she's been acting funny.
He asks if there is something she's not telling him.

Matron Zansi runs to them, telling them to come and see something.

She takes them to where Iya Minasu is still lying in the bush.
Senami breaks down in tears.
