'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 85 Recap - Aired: Friday 30 June 2017

At the palace, Obi asks Chef if he's going out.
Chief asks if he needs anything.
Obi says he wants Oviyon to be his tutor on Aji culture.
Chief says in the past Miyise, Oviyon and Neza used to always be together.
Obi says he thinks spending time with Oviyon might help him get his memory back.
Otogan says he's going for his meeting.

Folake gets a call from a lady who introduces herself as Bimbo Tella.
Folake is very excited and cannot believe she's talking to The Bimbo Tella.
Bimbo says she saw Folake's blog and liked it.
Folake freaks out and says she's been an ardent follower of Bimbo's blog for a long time.
Bimbo says she is thinking of getting her on their team and would like to have a meeting with her in Lagos this afternoon, if it's doable.
Folake says it's very doable.
Bimbo says she will send the address.

Petu and her boys are in front of her house.
Peace walks past and Petu calls her back.
She gives her the dirty dishes the boys have eaten from and orders her to wash them.
She says if Peace was a good person she would have hired her.
Peace says she doesn't need her job.
Petu starts hitting her.
Half-a -day tells Petu to stop.
He asks Peace if she doesn't have respect for Petu who is her senior-in-law.
Peace says she and Oviyon are no longer in a relationship so she's not related to Petu.
Half-a-day orders her to go and wash the plates.

Seyive comes to the hut.
She asks Neza for when Akweyon started coming to the hut.
He says maybe a week or two.
She asks if Akweyon talks.
He asks what business it is of hers.
She says she's just curious because Akweyon doesn't let anyone near her except Iya Minasu, Mausi and her (Seyive).
He's surprised she included herself.
She begs him to tell Akweyon to allow a doctor see her so she doesn't contract TB.
He asks what her real concern is with Akweyon.
She tells him that Akweyon is her sister.

Otogan is back from his meeting.
Obi comes to welcome him.
Otogan has some documents with him.
He says he's just coming from one of his agents and he wants Obi to have a meeting with him.
Obi asks why.
Otogan says he wants to include Obi back in his will.
He discovers one of the documents is missing so he goes to the room to look for it.
Obi quickly looks through the documents on the table.

Folake meets Oviyon at the palm-wine joint.
She tells him that she's moving back to Lagos and she thought she was going to move in grand style but Kingsley is busy with Senami.
Oviyon asks what she's saying.
She tells him to just go and collect his property because she doesn't understand what's happening as Kingsley is with Senami in the main house and they've pushed her to the boy's quarter; Senami is there behaving like madam of the house.
Oviyon is not happy with the news.
She says she's leaving.

Fonton comes to the palace with his boys.
He complains that Otogan's guards are rude.
Otogan asks if it wasn't just him that was invited.
Fonton says the boys are part of the matter so he had to come with them.
Otogan asks fonton what his boys did to Doris.
Fonton says Doris stole from them.
Otogan asks if he has a witness.
One of the boys says it was their garri they threw down as Doris hadn't paid for it.
Another boy says Otogan told them to be Neighbourhood Watch so their job is to catch thieves.
Otogan asks who he is and who gave him the right to speak.
He asks Fonton what's going on.
The boys tell Fonton that he's being spoken to rudely because of Doris.
Fonton tells Otogan that he has had enough of the disrespect at the palace.
He orders his boys to move.
They all troop out.

Oviyon is at Kingsley's place.
Senami serves him a glass of water and tells him to relax.
He asks how he can relax in another man's house.
She asks what that's supposed to mean.
He says he's sorry.
He asks where their host is
She says he decided to give them privacy.
He asks if she believes it.
She says he's not being fair to someone who is their host and has been nothing but kind to her.
He says maybe he shouldn't have brought it up.

He starts hallucinating.
Senami asks if he's okay.
She sits next to him and tells him to relax.
Oviyon says something happened the day that child almost drowned and he wanted to say it but he couldn't.

Kingsley walks in and Senami quickly stands up.
She asks if he hasn't left.
He says he forgot something.
He picks up his keys from the table and tells them to carry on then he strolls out.

Oviyon says Kingsley did it on purpose
Senami doesn't agree.
Oviyon asks why she keeps defending Kingsley; he's been boyfriend and he's been going through so many things and she doesn't even know, for her, it's been Kingsley this and Kingsley that.
She says he's being unfair.
He says she always has something bad to say about him.
She says he's self-absorbed and hasn't even thought about what her life is right now, she would have still been stuck at the lodge if not for Kingsley.
He says there she goes again, talking about Kingsley.
He asks if she likes Kingsley because he's beginning to think she's exactly where she wants to be; in his house and maybe even his bed.
She slaps him.
He asks if she slapped him because she knows he's right.
He asks why she's not in the boys' quarters.
Another slap.
He says she's changed and she shouldn't dare blame it on his mother because she's just using that as an excuse to end things with him.

She tells him to get out.
He says she's sending him out like the madam of the house.
She says she should have known better than to get involved with someone like him.

He leaves.

Kingsley returns and holds Senami as she cries.
He asks if it's his fault.

Otogan tells Obi that he has made his decision about a tutor and he wants him to use Fonton.
Obi asks why.
Otogan says he wants Obi to watch Fonton and his boys, to see how they operate and report back to him just for a few weeks.

Folake comes for the meeting with Bimbo Tella.
Bimbo asks if she can write for them.
Folake says she can.
Bimbo asks what topics she can write on.
Folake suggests a lot of topics but Bimbo is interested in the story of 'A Prince who came back after he said he was dead.'
Folake tells her all about Obi and says he has some secrets.
Bimbo asks her to write on it and give her 5000 words by the end of the month for 50 000 naira.

Oviyon gets home and starts hallucinating again.
He sees the boy in his living room and begs him to leave him alone.

He goes into the room to pack his things and the boy is there.
He returns to the living room and sees the boy again.
Peace is also there.
She tells him to come and warn Petunia.
He asks if they are alone in the house.
She takes it as code for wanting to spend time with her.

He says he's leaving for Lagos as he needs to go and sort out some unfinished business.
She begs him to look for her mother.
He asks where he will find her.
She says the last she heard from her, she was in Lagos.
Oviyon says he has to go.
She asks if she can come with him.
He tells her to stay back.
He leaves.
