Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 186 Recap- Aired: Monday 20 November 2017

Iya Oviyon regales Neza and Oviyon with tales of mystical things that happened when she was a young girl growing up in Aji.

She tells them to not concern themselves with Half-a-day's issue because he's not the first person to run mad in Aji.

Peace rushes into the house, shouting that
Jonah is going to get killed.
She rushes out of the house.
Iya and Oviyon run after her.

In the palace, Dr. Jide pours himself a drink then pours another and offers it to Obi.
Folake blames herself for getting Michael Wealth arrested and starting the whole wahala with the police.

Ndidi says it's her own fault and she should have left.
Obi says it's no one's fault and the palace is now Ndidi's home so they need to support one another.

Ndidi says she doesn't know what she did to deserve him.
The villages drag Jonah into the village square.
They throw him on the floor and raise their sticks and clubs.

He tells them that he didn't do anything.
Doris asks him for their money.
Jonah says he doesn't have their money or know anything about Boku Naira.

They tell him to call his father on the phone and place the call on speaker.
He calls and Fonton tells him not to go home because some people are looking for him (Fonton).

Before Jonah can speak, Fonton hangs up.
The villagers pour petrol on Jonah and put a tyre over his head.
Jonah screams himself hoarse, reminding them that he's Jonah, the person they all know very well.

They ignore him and continue to hit him with their sticks.
Oviyon, Iya and Peace arrive the scene.
Some men pull Oviyon away as he tries to get close to Jonah.
Iya holds on to Jonah and tells the villagers to kill her first.

Peace fights some of them off.
Neza stands off to the side so that he doesn't get hurt in the chaos.
Elder Johnde is the one urging the young men to carry out the dastardly act.

Iya insults him and he tells the boys to take her away.
Jonah holds unto her leg.
Dr. Jide is leaving the palace.
Obi walks him out.

Dr. Jide says Obi is a very lucky boy because he noticed that the police officer was full of threats but in the end, he couldn't do anything.
Obi says it's true.
Dr. Jide says they can't afford to be complacent because Ndidi should have been locked up so he will like to get close to the officer to see what he's up to.

He says he and Obi are working together
Obi says they are not partners because Dr Jide has betrayed him twice and if he's thinking about that money, he should forget it.
Neza runs up to them to inform Obi that the villagers want to kill Jonah.

Folake comes to meet Ndidi in the room.
Ndidi says she can't eat because the police officer might still come back.
Folake says Obi won't let them take her and the officer left because he doesn't have enough evidence on her.

Ndidi asks if Obi would have bribed the police for her.
Folake says of course.
Ndidi asks where he will get 100 million from.

Folake tells her not to worry.
Ndidi says if she sees that kind of money now,
she would just faint.

She asks where Obi will get the money from.
Folake says Otogan left him some money when he died and says it's only for if he decides to stay in Aji.
Ndidi says she knows Obi wouldn't want to stay in AJi.

Folake tells her not to worry because when it's time, Obi will make the right decision.
Totai and Zosu arrive the mob scene and ask what is going on.

When they are told about the scam, they want to join in and lynch Jonah.
Iya Oviyon stops them and asks if Jonah had a hand in their dealings with Half-a-day.
They tell her to forget that.

She tells them that their issue is with Fonton so they should go after him.
She tells elder Johnde that he's not fit to be an elder.

Obi arrives and asks what's going on.
They tell him and he asks if their money will come out when they kill Jonah.

He reminds them that he told them not to invest in Boku Naira but they didn't listen.
He tells elder Johnde that he has shamed him as an elder to be a part of such an act and the people of Aji have collectively shamed him and shamed themselves.

Sejiro is in the clinic practising her reading.
She is able to read 'A cat sat.'
Matron is happy for her.
Seyive enters and she starts celebrating when Sejiro reads to her.

Dr. Jide comes in and tells them to keep it down, then goes to his office.
Seyive tells Matron that the villagers want to kill Jonah over Boku Naira.

Matron screams and asks where she saw them.
Seyive says they were in the village square but presently on their way to the palace.
Matron runs out of the clinic.
Senami walks in and tells Seyive to go and get her a pack of juice.

Seyive leaves.
Senami calls Sejiro into her office.
She asks her what happens when a new Mausi is about to be replaced.

Seyive enters and tells Sejiro to leave.
She tells Senami that she was standing by the door and heard everything.
Sejiro looks sorry and says 'Please' to Senami as she's leaving.

Matron meets Fonton hiding on his farm.
He asks what happened.
She slaps him and accuses him of hiding when the Villagers almost burnt his son alive.
Fonton jumps up and asks where he is.
Matron says they've taken him to the palace.

The villagers are gathered in front of the palace.
Obi tells them that he hasn't been in Aji long but he knows they are not animals and when one has an issue with another, the matter is brought to an elder.

He orders his attendants to get Jonah from inside the palace.
They bring Jonah out.
The villagers start chanting 'Thief!'
Matron arrives with Fonton.

Iya Oviyon hits Fonton and accuses him of nearly getting his child killed.
The villagers continue their chant.
Fonton goes to Jonah to see how he is.
The villagers ask him for their money.
Obi tells him to respond.

Fonton begs them to forgive him because just as they invested in Boku Naira, he did the same and he doesn't have their money.
Doris says he brought Boku Naira to Aji.
Obi asks Fonton if he has a record of everyone who invested.

Fonton says he does.
Obi says he will pay the money.
The villagers start rejoicing and singing his praises.
Obi tells them to go home as they have his word that they will get their money.

The villagers disperse.
Jonah slumps and Oviyon tells the guards to carry him to the hospital.
Oviyon, his mother and Matron follow as they carry Jonah away.

Fonton is left all alone outside the palace.
He sits on the ground.
