Neza and Oviyon come to Fonton's place.
Fonton asks how Jonah is.
Oviyon says he's fine.

Fonton asks where he is.
Oviyon says they just came to take his things.
Oviyon goes into the room to pack Jonah's bags.
Fonton drags the bag and says Oviyon to take them because Jonah is his son and he lives in the house.

Oviyon says Jonah just needs to clear his head.
Fonton is almost in tears.
They get outside and see Jonah sitting there.
Fonton begs for forgiveness.

Jonah ignores him and leaves with his bag.
At the clinic, Seyive asks Sejiro what she and Senami were talking about.
She shouts at Sejiro.

Matron walks in and asks what's going on.
Seyive tells her that Senami was asking about how Mausi chooses a successor.
Matron is shocked.
She tells Sejiro that they need to know everything so they can help Senami.

Jonah, Neza and Oviyon are back in Oviyon's house.
Jonah is still upset over what happened to him.
Oviyon and Peace beg him to calm down.
Iya brings food to Jonah.

Jonah thanks her for saving his life.
She says she didn't do anything special because he's her son.
Jonah says she saved his life.
Iya says she knows something is haunting Jonah's father.

Jonah asks what it is.
Iya says she doesn't know if it's the sins of Fonton's involvement with Half-a-day or something else but she thinks he should go and see Mausi before he continues with his wedding plans.

Fonton is in the palace.
Ndidi tells him she's sorry.
He says they already ruined his reputation in the village and nobody wants to walk near him and even his son has moved out.

Ndidi says her father used her just as he used Fonton.
Obi walks in.
He says he's very upset considering the fact that he warned Fonton against Boku Naira.
Fonton falls on his knees and says he's very sorry.

Obi tells him to get up.
Fonton says he's not worthy of being an elder.
Obi tells him to give the records to Ndidi so they can start paying the elders and he wants Fonton to remember that when no-one else was there for him, he helped.

Fonton thanks him and leaves.
Neza and Oviyon are outside.
They see Zosu and Totai with backpacks.
Oviyon asks where they are going.
They tell him they are tired of Aji and need to leave.

Oviyon reminds them of the plans they had.
They tell him farming is not for them.
They leave.
Neza tells Oviyon that he thinks they should also leave Aji.

Senami is in her office.
She is in leaving her father a voicemail message.
She apologises for what happened the time and begs him to call her back as she has questions to ask him.

Matron walks in and advises her to go and meet her father in person to apologise.
Senami says maybe she will go to Mausi.
Matron says mixing with Mausi won't help her as it was what caused her grandmother to be ostracised and branded a witch and she sees Senami headed in the same direction.

Senami says what if it's too late because Peace told her that Mausi already chose her (Sennami) as her successor.
Matron says it's not true.
Senami says it's true.

Matron asks how she's sure.
Senami says she has done things.
Matron says things aren't always as they seem.
She tells her to just leave Aji and never look back.

Jonah carries some foodstuff into Iya Oviyon's the compound.
Peace asks what he's doing.
Jonah says he's going to see Mausi.
Peace says Jonah should be more intelligent than that.

Jonah says after what happened to him yesterday, he has no choice.
Peace calls Oviyon to talk to his cousin.
Oviyon asks Jonah if he believes in all that superstition.

Iya comes out of the house and tells them not to disturb Jonah.
Peace says she won't accompany him.
Iya says she will accompany him if Peace doesn't want to.

Oviyon gets a call from Matron asking him to come and see her.
He leaves.
Peace tells Jonah that she will go and see Mausi first.

He agrees.
Oviyon arrives the clinic and meets Matron outside.
Matron advises him to talk to Senami because she's now mixing herself in Mausi's business.
Oviyon asks what happened.

Matron says Senami thinks she's next in like to be Mausi.
Oviyon laughs.
Fonton comes to the clinic and he tells Matron to help him beg Jonah.
Matron tells him to leave.

Fonton says he's not leaving till she answers him.
He sits on the ground.
Matron tells Oviyon to talk to his friend because her life depends on it.

She goes into the clinic to get her bag.
Ndidi is in the clinic, helping Sejiro with her studies.
She walks over to the counter to meet Seyive.
She asks Seyive if they have Patients at the clinic.

Seyive says they do from time to time but when there was a whooping cough epidemic, there were a lot of patients.
Ndidi asks if Dr. Jide lives in Aji.
Seyive says he doesn't but comes like 3 times a
week.

Ndidi asks if he's a good doctor.
Seyive says he is and speaks a lot of grammar and loves to wear a coat.
Dr Jide walks in and clears his throat.
Ndidi excuses herself and goes into an empty room in the clinic.

She calls her father to tell him that everything is going according to plan and Obi has at least 100 million but says he wants to pay the villagers back

She laughs.
Dr. Jide is eavesdropping.
Matron and Fonton are in Iya Oviyon's house.
Jonah walks in with Oviyon and Peace.
Matron tells Jonah to listen to his father.
Jonah flares up and says he doesn't want to talk to his father and doesn't want doesn't want him to attend the wedding.

Fonton exclaims.
Peace's family members enter.
Fonton welcomes them and says he hopes there is no problem.
The family members say they can't allow the wedding to happen.

Jonah asks why.
They tell him that they can't allow their daughter to marry into a family of thieves.
