Twist Of Fate - Season 1 - Episode 254

Abhi tells Purab not to let the police come inside the house.
Purab runs to the door.

Tanu says Pragya and Sarla were in cohorts and wanted to steal from the house.
Pragya says she owns everything and Sarla could have asked her if she needed money.
Tanu says Pragya didn't want to have to justify how she spent the money that was why they decided to steal.
She dares her to take action against her mother to prove they were not in cohorts.

Purab meets the police outside.
The inspector tells him that they got a call from a woman whose life was in danger and she complained about a robbery.
Purab says there is no such thing in the house and the owner of the house doesn't want the police to come in.
The inspector tells Purab to get out of his way or he would be arrested.

Pragya tells her mother not to worry as nothing would happen to her.
Sarla says what about the money in her room.
Pragya assures her that if need be, she would take the blame for it.
Sarla says she won't let Pragya take the blame.
Tanu says she can see from Sarla's tears that she didn't steal the money but Pragya did and she's making her mother take the blame.
Abhi warns Tanu to stop.
Tanu says Pragya stole the money and put it in Sarla's room because she didn't think the room would be searched.

Sarla is crying.

Pragya stares at Tanu in disbelief.
Tanu continues to blame Pragya for the theft.

Sarla realises Tanu is deliberately blaming Pragya so that Pragya would go to jail and be out of her way.
She decides not to allow that happen and she will have to help her daughter.
She tells them that she stole the money.
Grandmother tells her not to try and prove anything as they trust her.

Purab and the police enter.
Sarla says she stole the key while Pragya was asleep and she returned the key after taking the money.

The inspector orders for Sarla's arrest.
Purab tells them to hold on while he talks to Abhi.
He takes Abhi upstairs.

Tanu panics as she wonders what they are up to.

Purab tells Abhi to call the police commissioner and stop them from arresting Sarla as she would never do such a thing.
Tanu enters the room and says they need to arrest Pragya as well as she is the one behind the theft.
Abhi says he doesn't know what to do.
Tanu tells him that they stole the money that's meant for their baby so they need to be punished.
Purab tells Abhi not to listen to Tanu.
Tanu says if Alia who is Abhi's sister can get punished then why not Pragya?
Abhi leaves the room.

He returns downstairs.
Pragya tries to speak but her mother tells her to stop.
Abhi tells them both to stop as he has made his decision.

Mitali tells Pami that he thinks the police will arrest Sarla.
Pami says they will get a reward for it.

The inspector asks Abhi if he should arrest Sarla.
Abhi says Sarla is like his mother and he can't watch his mother go to jail.
He says it's a family matter and no crime has been committed.
The inspector says it's not a family matter but a crime was committed and the culprit confessed to her crime.
Abhi threatens to call the commissioner.
The inspector says he will still go through with the arrest as he doesn't allow a crime to go unpunished so he will have to arrest Sarla.
Abhi says if they try to arrest her, he will call the media and women's rights organisations.
He asks if anyone made a complaint.
The inspector says Mitali and Pami called them.
Abhi threatens to throw out anyone who makes a statement on the matter.
The inspector says they will leave today but he will keep an eye on Abhi.
Abhi tells Purab to escort the police out.

Tanu tells Abhi that what he did wasn't right.
Abhi goes upstairs.
Tanu tells Pragya not to think she has won because she would still get her and her mother punished.

Sarla enters her room and starts packing her things.
Grandmother begs her not to do it as Pragya needs her and they all know she didn't do it.
Sarla says not everyone thinks she's innocent and she can't stay any longer.
Pragya enters the room.
Sarla is crying.
Pragya hugs her mother.
She begs her not to go.
Sarla says she is fine now she has to go home as she doesn't want to become Pragya's weakness and be an obstacle that prevents her from being with Abhi.
Pragya says she's not a weakness but her strength.
She asks how she would sort out the marriage hall.
Sarla says she has always been a fighter and she will be able to sort it out.
She leaves with her suitcase.

Purab goes to tell Abhi that Sarla is leaving and they need to go and stop her.
Abhi's stands up then he sits back down.
He says he doesn't think he can face her as he knows she didn't steal the money.
Purab tells him to stop her or at least see her before she leaves and assure her that he will always be by her side.
Abhi says he wouldn't know what to say.

Sarla enters the room and tells Abhi that she doesn't want him to anything but she will pray for him so that he knows when someone is lying to him and deceiving him.

She gets downstairs and sees Janke waiting for her.
Tanu tells them that she wanted Pragya to get kicked out of the house.
Sarla assures her that she will lose someday.
She warns that if Tanu does anything to Pragya, she will cinema after her.

Mitali is watching.
Sarla tells Tanu that Abhi will soon find out the truth about her baby.
She turns and leaves.

Tanu is shocked to see Mitali
She warns her to mind her business.

At night, Grandmother finds Abhi alone in his studio.
She tells him that she knows he was deeply affected by what he saw.
She tells him that Sarla didn't take the money but she had her reason for taking the blame.
Abhi says he knows Sarla didn't steal the money but he wants to know why she took the blame and the only way to find out is by catching the real killer.
He drops his guitar and says he will need her help in finding the thief because Sarla was humiliated and he will never forgive the thief.
Grandmother says she will help him and give him her blessings.
He asks who else will bless him beside her and Sarla.
Grandmother says she is comforting him but Pragya has no one to comfort her so only Abhi can do that.
Abhi says it's hard.
Grandmother says Pragya is hurt not only because Sarla was accused of theft but because Abhi even doubted for a while and he needs to assure her that he trusts her and her mother.
Abhi agrees to talk to her.

Akash and Rachna see Tanu coming into the house with a man carrying a small box.
Rachna asks what she's up to.
Tanu says she went looking for the thief and found that box so she's taking it to her room.
They tell her that they suspect she's the thief.
She tells them to get out of her way.

Abhi enters the room and sees Pragya crying.
He wonders what to do to cheer her up.
He puts on her glasses then takes them off because he thinks it might make her mad.
He looks at the photos on them on the wall so he decides to make her care for him.
He picks up his guitar to play but he cuts his finger.
He cries out and Pragya rushes to him and fusses over the finger.
She treats the wound.
Abhi says she was sad and he wants them to catch the thief so she can shout at them as much as she wants.
Pragya smiles.

Akash and Rachna go outside to ask the family chauffeur where Tanu went.
He says she went shopping then went to a coffee shop and went to the hospital to see someone.
Rachna says it must be Nikhil.

They get to Abhi's bedroom door and Akash says it's too late to disturb Pragya.
Rachna says they have a secret knock to let Pragya know if something is urgent.
She knocks and Abhi opens the door.
They think it's Pragya and they say they just found out something.
Abhi asks what they found out.
They both stutter and Rachna says they found out that Sarla got home safely.
Abhi asks why they had to disturb them for that.

Pragya stands behind him but he doesn't see her.
Abhi tells Akash and Rachna to go to sleep.
Pragya runs back to pretend she's sleeping.
She wonders what Akash and Rachna wanted to tell her.
