Lies Of The Heart - Season 1 - Episode 16

Meanwhile, Samrat and Urmi are still walking and Samrat walks on the right side but Trisha comes on his right instead and walks and tells him that her Daadi tells her that a wife is supposed to walk on the right hand side of the husband. Samrat feigns amusement and asks her to tell more and she continues that a husband wife must trust each other too, not to lie to each other and to respect each other. Just then Samrat corners her, moves closer to her and asks her what else her Daadi says.

Samrat tries to get close to Urmi, but she runs off in shyness. Later at Samrat’s residence, Samrat’s mother is fuming over Urmi and her family, that they are unperturvbed, they were insulted and then apologised to. Samrat’s sister in-law says that they don't want to let go of this relation easily, as it's such a huge and famous family. Samrat’s mother agrees and goes on to crib how the girl’s side should always be kept under control.

While Ishaan is busy finalising marriage preparations, Samrat is busy in his work. His mother comes and hesistaintly asks the reason for the change of his descision, and asks if he is under any pressue. He says that she knows him better than that. She complies and then asks him the reason to say yes. Samrat says that he didn't come under any lure. She again tries to hint on advices, while Ishaan is tensed at that. she treis to strike a balance in what she just said, and asks him to be extra careful. Samrat asks her not to worry, as all is under control and Urmi would be like he wants her to.

At Urmi’s residence, Urmi's family prepares for Sangeet ceremony while the dance practises are going on, amidst much fun and frolic. Urmi comes in looking for her mother, while Trisha and Anushka come in to dance. She insists Trisha to dance too, while she is tensed. Trisha says that right now she isn't in the mood. But still Trisha isn't able to do properly and is pointed out for that. Granny recounts her days. Trisha leaves from there saying that she doesn't want to dance. Everyone are tensed.

Inside her room, Trisha is asked by her parents what happened. Trisha says that this marriage is a sham and tells her parents about her meeting with Samrat and that Samrat isn't the right person for Urmi. Trisha says that Samrat isn't the right person, as wrong intentions are forcing him to marry. Her mother closes off the doors, and asks her to understand what's she trying to say. Trisha says that they dont know, that she heard everything when Samrat refused to marry and whatever happened after that. They are tensed to hear this but her mother is adamant that maybe Samrat did realise it, but his male ego came in to ask for forgiveness from Trisha.

But Trisha says that he just wants to have an upper hand in this but her mother says that he could have blamed this on Trisha, and then that would have been awkward. She adds that marriages are made in heaven, and if it has to hapen it will. Trisha tries to argue, but Trisha's mother asks her to be quiet saying that they have discussed enough and not make a big issue out of it and that she should behave well with Samrat, so that Urmi’s life isn't hampered. She adds that she must have had a misunderstanding. Trisha's father too gives in while Trisha is tensed. After her mother leaves, her father asks her to calm down and leaves too. Trisha is tensed.
