After Edna left, the prison guard started treating me well, I believed Edna tipped them with money, they bring good for us and they are always watching out for me in case of any trouble, like for example when one guy tried to bully me he was beaten and taken to another cell away from my sight, I was happy that am being taken care of here, but there is one bad guard that always look at me with bad eye, I think he has bad thing on his mind for me so I try to avoid him anytime he is close.

I remain in kirikiri prison for months and I heard nothing from Edna, I don’t know why she will be waiting for transfer when she can just hit this prison anytime, I know this prison is heavily guarded but if she hit the prison they will transfer all of us for maintainance, and also she knew when they transfer me from port Harcourt to Lagos why didn’t she hit by then?

I keep on wondering what’s holding up Edna everyday since it seems like she has abandon me here to die, the police guard giving good food stop giving me and I eat same time when other prisoners eat, it was really bad in that fever started disturbing me, I cough all the time, my friend dogo tried his best to make me feel right but it just keep getting worse infact I can’t move any part of my body, I was taken to another section where I will be taken care of in the prison, a nurse came to me and run some test for me, she confirmed that I was poison that I ate something I wasn’t suppose to eat, the nurse gave me some drugs and I was taken back to my cell and I told dogo what happened.


“you sure say no be that big beret poison you so?” He questioned.

The big beret man is the wicked guard I talk about earlier.

“How? I nor eat him food na” I said.

“That last food wey you eat na him bring am na” he said.

“Jesus, why you nor come tell me?” I ask.
“I think say na normal food wey them they supply all the time” he said.

“God, you done kill me oh” I said standing up by force and walking around the cell.

“Sorry bro I nor know, you think say na Tina go send am?” He ask, I told him all about Tina.

“Of course, who else?” I replied.
