Okay, i wrote all the papers successfully. On the last day of the exam, a friend and coursemate of mine, Micheal organized a bday party for us.


The last paper was on sunday and after the paper most of us marched to Mike’s house at Sabo, where the party was to hold.

His parents had travelled, leaving him and his elder bro at home.

We arrived the venue of the party and it was to be held in the parlour of his parents four bedroom flat. There was a refrigerator at one corner of the parlour, stocked with drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There was a kinda soft matress at one end of the wall.


All the chairs were removed from the parlour except the matress. A dj set was at one end of the palour. The parlour is very wide. With the main sitting room and the dinning section.

We got to the venue around 7pm and were welcomed by mike and his bro. It was to be an all night party. Babes were already around.


Most of them in skimpy dresses like mini skirts and singlet *all aranged by mike’s bro, who is a student of unilag*. The dj was already spinning the wheel and music was blasting from speakers at the four corners of the room.


The dance floor was opened soon enough and dancing started. I didn’t go at first until after having a feww shots of red label. People were dancing, drinking, smoking. I went to the dance floor and started swinging my body to the music playing all alone. I didn’t go there with any babe. As i was dancing, i came face to face with someone i wasn’t in the mood to see.

It was Tope. She was looking so radiant.

She wore a short, tight gown. She looked sweet. I couldn’t resist staring at her from up to down. I felt like hugging her, kissing her, i’ve missed her. We stared at each other quietly before she broke the silence. “Hey Vic”
Me: howfa…. never thought i’d see you here
She: same here… lets dance please?

I took her hand and she wrapped her hands around my neck and i put my hands around her waist and we started swinging our bodies.

She later turned back and i grabbed her waist and started rocking to the music.
