Diary Of A Stingy S

Life can really get worse within the blink of an eye.

Life for me at that moment just did. When things take wrong turn one can obviously pray for death.

If you know who mylestone is, you wont even dare try any nonsense with him.

I met mylestone on our Akko field, we play ‘saturday’s set’ together. He is always pompous and so full of himself, maybe it is because he belongs to the man’o’war group. Well, unfortunately for him… I see him as nothing.
I am this guy who is mildly rich, not because i come from a rich family, but i can actually turn your fart to money, that is how good i was in those days.

I have a betting shop, i also help with admission stuffs. Hmmm, i am well known. For Mylestone, he has power for me, money has given me authority.


There was a particular day he came to the field and demanded all footballers including myself evacuate the field, because they want to use it for their parade ground. Well we could do nothing than to move, they’ve got thr backup of the school authority.


Since that day, he has entered my black book.
“washo, i must deal with this guy” i declared.
” who….. Who you wan deal with” Washo asked me smilling.

Well, he had no idea of what i have i stock for Mylestone. He is in for this.

I know most of you would have been asking why i am trying to meddle in what seems legitimate. True, Mylestone who had given us a quit notice on the field had acted rightly. Yet, he must still be dealt with.

I have no personal grudge against him but im ready to spend my last kobo just to make him cry. Let me tell you a brief story, i had just got out of a boring lecture and i was starving like someone who hasn’t eaten since 10days. I dashed out straight into a resturant just behind OGD lecture hall. I ordered for a plate of rice and dodo, as if the woman knew i was starving, she had dished my meal, i struggled to keep my food from falling due to much customer trooping to get served. I located a sit and comfortably arranged myself, no time to check time…. I started devouring my meal. Well if not for the fact that a lady called me to order that i was too fast, i would have not noticed the great figure sitted opposite me.
Infact, we were sharing thesame table, and yet i didn’t notice. That hunger could as well kill me if i took notice truly.

” Thank you, im starving ” i said with a mouthful of rice, while some are dropping back on the table.

“oh, but it is Bad table manners ” She said as we both laughed at the polite insult.

” madam, hunger is no respecter of gentility ooo” I prone further. She actually heard that but ignored me.


I quietly and gradually finished my food. Well i was mindful of my manners this time around.
I was through with my food and still the lady was still in front of me sitted. She had a sweating table water in front of her. The water has definitely lost it chills and was only sweating probably due to the fact that it has been there for long.

” sunshine, are you waiting for someone” i asked her.

” yeah, im waiting for my guy…. He should be here soon. Thank you ” she answered.

” okay, maybe i should keep your company till he comes…. You shouldn’t be all by yourself” I offered


” oh thanks, i wouldn’t want that, my guy may take it for something else” She answered.


I ignored what she said and i called for a chilled chivita for myself and one for her too.

The juice came and was so chill. In no time i opened hers and poured some into her cup, she was still faming ignorance but i actually caught her eyes checking what was happening on the table.


” should taste from yours so you’ll know i actually meant no harm ”

” No don’t mind ” she said while smiling. I could say she loved it.

” my name is Abiodun and people call me drabeey, let me guess your name. ” The mention of guess made me caught her attention.
She was now facing me and expecting me to talk.

“ermmm, err Sade or Bimpe” i guessed.

“whao, what a genius you are, but you are wrong.. Hoobi!” she said while putting her two fingers to her face as a sign of mock.

We both laughed at this and deep down in me im sure i was winning the quest.
” so Chacha Eke, can i know your real name…” i asked

” No be only chacha Eke, na Rita Dominic you go see….. Anyways, im Sharon and my friends call me Lepasharon” she said and sipped her drink.

” whao, nice name…. I prepare to call you that Lepasharon. In the main time, im sure your ‘guy’ might come anytime soon… I would suggest i steal your number now before he comes.'” She gave me a stern look and later gave me the number. It was as if i made a divination before demanding her num… Just few seconds after she had spelt out her number and i had saved Mylestone her ‘guy’ bounced in. He was fully dressed in their man o’ war attire.
He came and gave me a look that made me shiver a bit. She demanded they start moving, that he will still be coming back to school soon. Lepasharon carried her drink and followed mylestone, and that was the day Mylestone officially registered hia name on my black book.


Immediately after i got home, i had started chatting with Lepasharon, she tried so hard to keep her feelings but i was sure she was not happy with her relationship and will want another guy, but who will date the wife of ‘oc mopol’

Days into days and week into weeks, we had gone far with the whole thing, and after some while, Lepasharon came visiting. Hmmmn, i hope such day will come again. Our relationship was waxing stronger but we are always fearful o
