The next thing Juliet rushed me with full force not minding her condition… Landing slaps and punches as all I did was to dodge the ones I could.. It took my mom, miebi and the security man who must have been attracted by the shouting to pull her off of me.. She finally managed to seat down still fumming with anger.. Fresh hot tears escaped Juliets eyes as she ran to me and pounced on me again.. With a fresh series of punches.. My mom and miebi managed to separate us..

Juliet (ranting).. Taaaa over my dead body.. Miebi you will abort that thing you are carrying.. I’m your mother and I swear you will never marry this boy..
Mom.. Julie calm down.. It’s a sin to swear like that and you know it.. Let’s handle this matter amicably.. Allow the kids to get married after school.. It.was always our dream that our children get married.. Remember!

She angrily stormed out of the house despite pleas from everyone.. Soon the holidays came to an end and school resumed.. Juliet didn’t come to our home after that day but miebi stayed back.. 2 weeks into the new session and we where still in ph.. During this period my mom was busy pampering and taking proper care of miebI.. But since school had returned my mom insisted that we both resume.. I declined the offer but insisted miebi returns because she was a medicine student.. 2 days prior to when she was scheduled to return, I was in my room when I heard her scream.. I rushed down stairs and behold there was blood flowing down her legs.. She just had a miscarriage.. My mom was at the hospital with my dad so I rushed her there and the doctor confirmed that she had a miscarriage and lost the baby.. I didn’t know what to make of the situation… I felt bad for the child.. Miebi was relatively calm and happy for someone who lost a baby..(but who I’m I to judge).. When we got home she packed her bag and told me she needed some personal space which I obliged her.. I drove her to the park where she boarded bus.. Now during that week I called the mechanic to do a routine check on all the cars in our compound.. He came and discovered that out of the 6 cars in our compound 4 had loose breaks much to my surprise.. But the thing was.. He was missing a spanner he’ll use to tighten the breaks so I asked the gateman musa to bring out our tool box for the mechanic.. But we couldn’t find that particular spanner so I started questioning our gateman because those tools were in his custody.. But what he said to me was the biggest shocker I’ve received in my life..
