As the last performers we were asked to remain on stage
JUDGES: now that we have a tie, the judges work are done now its left for you the audience to decide who the winner of this competition is. Bring it in mr jake commanded, the sound meter was brought in. Now its time to decide, is east high the winner!!
Crowd: yessssss!!!

The meter kept increasing till it got to 8, really it scared me, when i saw the we’ve lost looks on dera’s face.

Judge: is greenville the winner!!!!
Crowd: yeaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!
We watch the sound meter grow bit by bit while our hearts raced gradually it got to 7 and was moving slowly to 8
Harry: come on baby come on!!
It move and stoped slightly above 8.
Me: yesssss!!!! Hahahah, we jumped on stage, hugged each other while other greenville student came to join us. Before we knew it, we were ontop of the cheering crowd, they carried us to the judges and went back behind the stage
Judge1: i must say you guys were really wonderful, i thought it was a last battle for you guys but just as mr lance said obstacles aint a reference point. You really did great out there kids
Judge2: mr lance come forward, we observed that all three events which lead your school to today victory had you in it.
Judge3: therefore it is our greatest pleasure to hand you over the cup he said while give he it to me. Dad was the first to stand and clap while others followed.
Me: really i didnt know how exactly to be excited cos i had tears in my and i was smiling at thesame time, then dera came down again and kissed me, when we broke from the kiss i look at dad and he gave a thumb up.
Judges: now you can give a thank you speech to the audience.
Then i handed the cup over to harry who kept kissing the cup, while dera cling to me like i was her own cup. We climbed back to podium.
Me: Its a remarkable day for me, having audiences as wonderful as you guys, really i dont know what to say or how to say it. Just as the saying goes theres alway light at the end of every tunnel, i can proudly say am in the light of my own tunnel. Thank you thank you i love you all
Crowd: cheers increased as we vacated the stage, took photos with the cup.
Harry: kept on yelling dee mystery lol and soon everyone joined him.

While they chanted around us i caught dera’s lips with mine again and the chanting increased.

Me: am taking you home baby
Dera: i dont want to go home yet
Me: you’ll be spending the night in my house, in my room, on my bed.
Dera: what!!!!! No way mum is gonna kill you she said laughing
Me: she asked me to bring you home.
Dera: then what are we waiting for, this princess is ready.
Me: and this prince will do just fine i said carrying her in my arms as we got to my mums car. So what about your mum aint you gonna call her.
Dera: i have no mum i’ll call my sis later, and she will tell grandma not to worry. Now lets get going
Me: i entered the car, seat belt plssss i said smiling at dera
Dera: you should help me with that she said smiling. While i was about pulling the seat belt she caught my lips with hers and began another round of kissing while i pulled the seat belt to were i was supose to pin it.
Me: lets go home baby.

I drove to joe’s house first and entered with dera, only to see joe and mill kissing passionately.

Me: excuse me!!!!
Joe: dee get the hell outta he murmured while mill turned smiling
mill: how you dee.
Me: never better mill, after camping for a while am finally going home with my trophy.
Joe: what trophy
Me: i just gave dera a brief kiss
Mill: smiling dee you’ve got alot of explaination to do.
Joe: oooh come on dee am gonna go crazy, can you not see am high already, if you need a room that is it over there!
Mill: joe!!!!! Stop being silly why would he need a room.
Me: joe! Beg me and i’ll leave
Joe: plssssss man i’ll get the best prom outfit ever just go!!!!!!
Me: hahahaha i’d be waiting!
