Somehow deep down i felt happy dera came when she did, otherwise i would have ended breaking chris so badly. Soon i was kinda cool.

Me: how did you find me??

Dera: i saw you guys running toward the hand ball pitch then i followed slowly.

Me: thanks for coming dera i said giving her a peck. And she just smiled and placed her head on my shoulder.

Soon we went home i really didnt feel like going to school the next day, i knew when i see chris am gonna hurt him again and i needed time to cool off. Prom was on saturday anyway i had to be in a good mood i smiled to myself. Really i tried to get my self in a very good mood. I ate creme bu’ le once in a while because i was place on diet and my food was prepared according how the doctor arranged it. On thursday morning i went to school and everyone was really getting ready for prom. Its gonna be last memorable day before graduation on wednesday. I went in search of dera, when i ran in chris and his friends, chris had his right hand dressed in bandages and hung to his neck, cheek swollen a bit. Then he walked up to me slowly.

Chris: thanks for letting me go, am really sorry about your sight, i know i cant make it up to you man but if you need anything in future just call me he said giving me his number. Am really sorry man

Me: we are cool chris i said placing my hand on his shoulders, while he smiled and hugged me.

I left him, and went insearch of dera, finally i saw her, they were debating on the color of gown they’d be wearing to prom. I just stood there and stared at them, finally they agreed on pink. Then i cleared my throat while they all turned.

Dera: deeee!!!! She screamed running to hug me, we hugged and left her friends there. So what are you wearing to prom.

Me: i dunno yet, am sure joe will get something wonderful, speaking of joe i havent called him. I brought out my phone and dialed joe’s number.

Joe: hey man

Me: prom is on saturday

Joe: alright i’ll make the delivery tomorrow or better still, am gonna make you up how about that.

Me: uhmmm as long as a pro will be doing it, its fine by me.

Joe: alright man have got it all covered.

Me: thank joe

uhmmmm i think my dress is gonna be a suprise to you i said smiling

Dera: am sure your gonna be looking wonderful.
Me: and i know you’ll be looking like a princess i said and smiled. We went to the cafe and there wasnt any food with spinach like omellete’ so i just drank soda while dera ate hot doug. I just watched her wonderful lips grab the hot doug in each bite and her red tongue licking her lips.

Dera: hahaha dee!!!! Your drooling

Me: huuuh i dont drool, you are such a goddess. While she smile and continued her food.
I just didnt feel like going to school on friday and dera didnt too. So she came over rather than going to school and i gave her lectures in my house lol, we kissed and kissed.

Dera: so how’s prom night gonna be like

Me: fun i guess i said smiling while we kissed so passionately, then dad came in. What!!! I quickly checked my time it was just mid day.

Me: dad you came home quite early today

Dad: yes deee i cleared all patients files yestiday, now am home to rest ok, dont let my presence bother you, go ahead ok.

Soon dera left because her dad was at home, plus she didnt want any troubles and i saw her off.

Dad: dee can i talk to you for a moment

Me: ok dad and we sat on the dinning

Dad: dee i know tomorrow is prom and your gonna be swayed by all kinds of emotions but what ever you do, do not have unprotected s-x ok? He said slipping cds into my hands. And closed my hands

Me: looking at dad in suprised

Dad: dee have watched you grow up, i knew when you were in pains more than you think, all those time i just watch from afar, i saw the look on your face whenever you’re back from school. Now its time to be happy am gonna be the last person trying to stop you. Get it all out of your system tomorrow.

Me: i just smiled and said thanks dad, while he gave me a gentle sq££ze on my shoulder.
