I walked down the stair rubbing my eyes, I had slept late yesterday talking with Tina and tola hearing about their dream, I was happy that some people dreams can come thru.even if mine seems to have destroyed by a mistake I can be fine knowing that tola and Tina dreams of becoming something in life will come through. who knows I might be able to savage something with me life.

I nearly jumped out of my skin and came fulling awake at once. the sitting room was half filled my parent were there. the senator and his wife were there , Alex three drivers were there. our gateman tola and Tina and four other people I don’t know was also there. I was not just surprise but also shocked, I couldn’t remember my own birthday. happy birthday my baby gal my mum said and hugged me tight.
I..I…stammered as my face redden nervous again . I didn’t no what to say I forgot my own birthday, tears filled my eyes as I closed my eyes . my father came and hugged me when the senator came with his smiling face the tears rolled down my eyes. he hugged me and wiped away my tears, I murmured and continued saying thank you to everyone, tola and tina dragged me upstairs, the sitting room was a sight to behold and it was decorated for me. the senator wife looked gluming as if she was dragged in she was the only one who didn’t look happy.


When we entered my room I hugged Tina and tola tightly, thanks a lot am so happy today.
they laughed it was ur father inlw that planned it. and I was surprise. yea tola said, enough of this let get u dressed up. it party time.
they took their time in dressing me up. when I looked at my self in the mirror I looked like a movie star and I couldn’t believe I was the one am . I believe that tola talent was in the saloon. happiness filled my heart and I was jumping like a little gal. the gown I was putting on showed my tummy, the music coming out of the sitting was really loud and Tina said let go out.
I have never had fun all my life, I danced with everybody in the room expect my mother in law
Tina have cooked many food and I eat a lot that I became twice my size. several hours later the door got opened and Alex walked in and stood on a spot pooling at me, I felt irritated as his eyed rocked my body but was surprise me is that I didn’t feel anything for him like I used to. i nodded my head and said this is a good sign.

is this suppose to be the time to be arriving ur wife party the senator shouted at Alex, where have u been. you where not at work and u did not sleep here in the House.
Alex ignored his father totally it was obvious he qaa angry with him. you look beautiful Amara he said surprising every one in compete silence. stayed where I was for serval seconds unable to belive what he just said. instead of feeling delight anger rang thru me as I grapped a cup of wine to quench my sudden thirst and anger. passing my mother inlw she grapped my hands for the first time. I turned and looked at her, did I do something wrong ma? I asked her my happiness vanished.

you are hurting me ma I said to Her as her nails pirced into my flesh painfully , she caught her husband eyes and instantly left my hands. I hurried pat her and filled a cold water in a glass and drank it quickly and walked by again she shocked me again by grapping me and it seems like something caught her eyes and she frinze. before I could utter a word she turns me around holding me left ear and said where did u get this mark , how did u get it.
what is the meaning of this nonsence Kate the senator shouted calling her name forbtge first time.

where did she get that black doth she asked shaken. it has been there since she was born my mum said, no..no… it can’t be no I feel sick. she laughed nervouly, I want to go home and walked out of the room. the senator said please don’t mind her she behave like this when she dosnt sleep well. I think we have to go he came towards me and kissed me on my checks and he walked out, I just stood frozen trying to get an explanation for what just happened now.

Mr bello existed the car, her brain was in over drive,and been in a car with her husband whose silent was killing her more than pointing a gun on her head.he had been quiet thru at the ride from Amara’s party with his head out the window, and she knew he was coming with logical explanation of what she just did.she had been too obvious at the gathering and thinking about lies to tell him will not work. She didn’t know which was more scarier right now.
She hurried enter her room and lock the door before the senator could even say a word, but he was not I. A hurry to do that. She threw out her bag and started pacing . no it can be, no there must be a mistake some wherewhere.she wiped the sweat of fear from her face. This must be a coincidence she said to her self.

Finally to let her fears go, before it became too obvious to all. She could not explain what the problem was, but heaven knows she had her knowledge of what the problem was and it scared her very much, the fear of the unknown scared the hell out of her she did not want the doctor to dynose what was in her mind, she prayed that the result are wrong. If not she waa in big s--t.

Hello doctor she said, and sat down instantly, to hide her shaking legs. She did not want to use the family doctor. She coukd not afford to do it.
Hello ma’am how may I help you the doctor asked her, am feeling somehow lastly and for the past few weeks I have tried to ignore it. I have been waiting for it to go away but it refused. She said beating around the bush.
The doctor Looked at her with a professional look. Can u please tell me the symptom ma’am? You have experience, she nodded her head. Em” am sure it.nothing serious. Just some feeling of dizziness, and I now eat a lot. I vomit once in a while and I hope it nothing serious right?The doctor smiled and looked at Mrs bello in the eyes like her eyes was the only thing she can use to examin her. Ithink i know what the problem is she said and am sure u don’t think I know what it is. I will call someone to run u a test. It wouldn’t take long she said.

Don’t uthink i can come back for the result she asked the doctor, that is not necessary the doc told her, within some minute she told her congratulation u her pregnant.

The news landed like an atomy bomb to Mrs bello, rubbing her off her speech. There must be a mistake somewhere she said.

There is no.mistake the doctor said this should be good news ma” are u not married.Looing at her patient hand that bears married ring. Mrs bello stood up without looking at the doctor and left the hospital with hot sweat falling from her body.

Mrs bello roamed aboutthe siiting room her son Alex was taking a nap,
And she was glad he his not down disturbing her. Pregnant how can this be, her husband had been four month gone to tge united state establishing a new company, because of the rigor of been there . he had gone there to personally start it up him self and he hadn’t touch her for long,yhere was no way the pregnancy would be his. It could possibly be for one person their driver.

Been away for month from her husband was too much for her to handle,when she complained to her friend Bimpe , she had given her her solution. Her frd had pointed out her Strong and sexy driver. Who had been her driver for more than two years now, thou she waa still young and he was older than her.So she would not be a sugar mummy to him.cheating on her husband will be a ridiculous thing to do. But when is absence was too much to bear . she gave aid to it, it was a difficult thing to do, because sahid was proving too difficult to s£duced. He was a Strong man, she wore seducing clothes to Bring him down. He had given her flower treated her like no other man could ever do. But this is the result of it. She was carrying the result of infidelity.she hated the child in her womb right now and having an abortion wasn’t an options because her Frd died of it and she became afraid of even trying it.

Ever since she had given birth to Alex she hadn’t been pregnant. Given birth to Alex was really tough on her, and she didn’t want to loose her family and didn’t want Alex to lost his happy home. And it might happen if her husband find out she was pregnant with infidelity.


The very day her husbandhusband came back she used a tight girdle to bockel her tummy flat, and she looked okey,but avoided her husband thru out his stay and she pretended to be sick and later in luck came her way , Mr bello was called back to USA . tge first thing she did was to sack sahid and she took care of her mess, thanks for her stature her pregnancy stayed hidden . she had done stressful things hoping tge baby will be miscarried but it didn’t work.Finally she gave up trying to miscarried the child. She decided to discard the child after given birth. When she was seven month plus, she took Alex and went for a long vacation. And it was there her Frd lead her to where she will give birth.


Mrs bello travelled to tge village and could now breath freely. She stayed with the woman her Frd told her about. And she finally gave birth to a beautiful girl but hated her for all the trouble she had gone thru, she wanted to live that instantly after given birth but tge woman told her no she had to stay for at least two weeks and b----t feed her and she should also make sure to live tge child where someone can find her
