I was lying on my bed when my phone beeped and it was a text message from an unknown number. The message read thus; I knew that i have offended you in many ways and there is no way you could forgive me but please hear me out. I knew that you are around now and i want you to please grant me this last wish. I want us to see; i have many explanations to give despite the fact that i know that there is no way you will forgive me. If you wish to grant my request, you can text me the address of where we can meet with the time.

I couldn’t believe my eyes. The silly girl still has the guts to text me after all she has done. The most annoying part of it was that she was even requesting for us to see; what a glory. My friends barely knew about my arrival while the b---h even knows. I stare at the number and deleted the message before dropping my phone. The memory of what she did to me began to flood back; memories that i have forced to the back of my mind
I was still thinking when i heard footsteps approaching my door and i guessed it will either be my uncle or Anna. I quickly slide into my bed-sheet, changing my mood and face to sick stroke person with my eyes tightly shut.
The door opened and some people walked in but i could not know who they were because my eyes were closed but i noticed that they were two. I felt a hand on my neck in checking manner before a voice sounded and i noticed that it was Timmy
TIMMY: i think his temperature is now getting better. Thanks for your help

ANNA: it is nothing, for you though
TIMMY: **laughed** that is why i love you, you are so lovely

I almost giggled but i controlled myself and yawned turning from side to side before opening my eyes slowly. I couldn’t help but marvel at Timmy’s foolishness. He was so blinded that he could not even think again. A girl that was been forced to get married to him and he knew that she was not even happy about it acting so lovely all of a sudden is not enough to make him suspicious? The real fact was that the girl he was trying to manipulate was intellectual; she can even sell him to slavery in his present without him noticing anything. Her elegance will be very instrumental to my plan, though i have to use her weakness to manipulate her into bidding my wish without her noticing
I opened my eyes to see Timmy standing with Anna’s hand at his back. I could guess that she was trying to snick something from his pocket and the man was too concerned with my health to notice. Immediately she noticed that i got her, she winked at me with a smile
TIMMY: you are awake? **he asked rather than say**

ME: welcome uncle
I rubbed my palms on my face as i got up and sat on the edge of the bed so as to see what Anna was trying to snick from Timmy’s pocket but i couldn’t have a clear view of what she brought out. She winked at me once again before tucking whatever she took from him into her bra

TIMMY: i was told that you are having a severe headache, hope it is getting okay now?
ME: ** yeah, all thanks to my girlfriend that you are trying to make your wife” i dare not say** yeah, all thanks to your wife **smiled at him**

TIMMY: what if we visit the doctor tomorrow?
ME: no, no need, i will be fine before tomorrow
TIMMY: if you insist. I got you some garnished chicken with ice cream, hope you like it?
ME: **smiled** yeah! I love it
I was having two minds about accepting the stuffs from him but i knew that he will never dare anything like poisoning me so i accepted it and sat in my room consuming the subtle chicken and yummy chocolate flavoured ice cream. Anna walked in some minutes later already dressed up to leave

ANNA: i will be on my way now
ME: **gave her the stare of i knew what you did** okay

ANNA: it is personal, **she smirked** but i will tell you tomorrow. Care to give me some of your ice cream? **she asked with a dirty smile**

ME: sure, you can have as much as you can **i replied as i put a spoonful of ice cream into my mouth**

ANNA: well, from your mouth though
ME: **surprised** what?
