“What really made Bernice to cheat on me.Why,did I do anything wrong or was I not performing to her expectations.

I couldn’t believe she was actually cheating on me,not until she tries lying to my face.I would be game over if I realise that she was actually cheating on me.

If so,did she actually pretend to love me.Was it because of my money.Some ladies are so wicked,taking advantage over love to dupe guys.

They can pretend to love you to the extent of being your girlfriend get to get your money,after which they dump you for another.

You might think you have a girlfriend who is so innocent like the Holy Mother Mary herself but little will you know that you are dating a Money chaser.

On the other side,the lady who just called could have been telling lies herself.You know some ladies could be so jealous that they can ruin their friend’s relationship.

The level of jealousy I sensed in hear speech was enough for any guy in love just like myself to ignore her piercing speech which was meant to destroy a relationship like mine.

The power of a woman’s tongue could even change Adam’s mind back in the Garden of Eden.Women have so much power over men with their tongue than they could ever imagine.

*My believes were somehow narrow.I didn’t know who to believe.The lady who made the call to complain of my girlfriend cheating on me,or Bernice my girlfriend who had been alleged to be cheating on me.

Not until I talked to her myself,trying to find out whether there was any truth in what the lady complained about.

I picked up my phone and made a call to Bernice asking her to meet me under the Oak tree,in front of the old library,our usual place of meeting.

She agreed to come meet me after sorting a few things out.I was however relieved after she had given me an exact time which was to be 10:00am prompt.

I thanked her and hung up.I felt a little bit relieved after talking to Bernice on phone.I had to plan how to persuade her first so she could tell me a lot about that story line.

My only hope and gift I had over her was that,she wasn’t a good liar.She could lie to all her friends but me because I caught her anytime she tried doing so.

She had failed whenever she tried doing so to my face,I meant to say that Bernice could not lie to my face because I always caught her through her speech and her facial expression.

She would tremble making her speech to break in words and her facial expression was nothing to write home about.

Her face always drawn up like a baby who had seen another baby’s toy and was ready to cry for it.So whenever I raised an issue which was based on the truth,she knew she was up for a defeat.

*It was around 9:45am when I got ready to meet my girlfriend, Bernice.She must have had so many things running through her mind because she knew I did not call up a meeting between us without sensing trouble ahead.

No sooner had I gotten under the Oak tree than she arrived.We made ourselves comfortable on the lover’s bench under the tree.

“I know there is trouble awaiting to be unveiled so can you please stop frowning to me and tell me what all this meeting is about because I know you didn’t call me here just to be frowning at me,Ali….Bernice asked.

” I had a dream last night and it was terrible.It actually has spoilt my day.In my dream,I saw you in town taking a stroll with a different guy.When I tried calling you,Bernice you snubbed me and asked me to read your lips with the inscription,”IT IS OVER BETWEEN US DUDE”.
You know very well that my dreams do come to reality.Remember I told you about how my mother died in a dream I had before such dream became a reality.

So my dreams speak the truth,the whole truth and nothing but the truth.So tell me about what is going on between you and that guy.

My speech hit her like Flyod Mayweather’s punch landing straight on an opponent’s jaw sending him straight to the ground because she was off the hook.

I could tell by the drawn face she showed that,she never expected such a conversation to prop up.She was so confused that she became very uneasy.

“You know,you don’t have to believe whatever you dream about to be something which would happen.I know about how your mum died and truly it was exactly how you narrated your dream earlier but please,not this one.

I am not dating any guy other than you my love.How can I be cheating on a man who has shown so much love to me these couple of months.

Let me tell you,these few months of me dating you has been like a thousand years added to my love age.No woman like me would want to throw such wonderful memories like ours just to date another guy she knows less about.

As the saying goes,the Demon you know is better than the Angel you don’t know.It is better for me to stay with you than to go in for another guy of which I do not know how his character might be…..Bernice poured out her heart touching words amidst tears flowing down her gorgeous cheeks.

I was so shocked she got hold of herself and lied in my face.She trembled a bit before composing herself to talk.Maybe she was gathering up courage,who knows.

She knew by then after loosing twice to my face when she last tried to lie.

So this girl thought she was smarter than me,trying to make a scene by crying do I could believe her pretty lies.

“Listen Bernice,if you don’t stop this drama of yours and start talking the truth I would have no other alternative than to leave your life for good.

After all,you are cheating on me with another man.What do you take me for,a fool.You think you can fool me with these built up tears of yours,you lie bad……Ali retorted*
