She was very much infuriated that she poured out her anger on me. Her got hold of my shirt ready to tear it apart in an attempt to disgrace me.

But for the divine intervention of Enoch who boldly held her hand, preventing her from pouncing on me and tearing up my shirt,she was forced to leave my shirt.

She then took a bowl of water from another table and poured it on me. That came faster that, neither Enoch nor myself could block.

I wanted to walk out on them but Enoch’s ex was looking for any opportunity to pounce on me for snatching her boy friend, something i knew less about.

I was so embarrassed that i did not know what to do next. Enoch who could not also withstand the embarrassment her so called Ex created, held my hand and dragged me from the scene.

He took me straight to a boutique before we went to his house where he pleaded with me to change the clothes he bought at the boutique.

I took a shower and changed into the clothes he bought for me before joining him in the living room.

I asked him to take me home as he and his ex had already spoilt my day by disgracing me at the restaurant, but he pleaded that i heard him out first before i thought ill of him.

I knew he would have an explanation for all what had happened that evening but i was so much annoyed that i didn’t want to hear anything from him.

So i made up my mind to walk out from his room, step outside and get a taxi back home.
But he held my hand and pleaded with me to sit down for sometime to listen to his side of the Story.

I had no option than to sit down and listen to him.

“Her name is Amanda, she was my girl for five good years before she won a lottery to study abroad.

Amanda never told me that she had won a lottery to study abroad. I called her line one day but it didn’t go through.

Since then, i never heard from her till this very evening. Believe me, i was even shocked myself to see her, wondering who could have even told her where i was that very night.

Could Enoch be telling the truth or framing up just another lie to cool me down in order for him to win me back…. I wondered.

“I’ve heard you Enoch, can i please leave now… I asked.

Okay, but please let me drop you off… He replied.

I nodded in agreement because i didn’t want us to argue over it. He drove me straight to my house without me altering a word to him.

I thanked him after i had alighted before he zoomed off my compound.

Monday morning came very faster than i expected. It was a bright morning making all hopes to be high.

My phone started beeping and when i checked on the screen it was an unknown number.

I picked the call and i knew it was her.
