I went to bed that night very late because I was still thinking about the type of questions the panel will bombard me with.

#The next morning came very quickly than I expected with the sun raising up high.

As I brushed up very briskly before heading up to the police station, my phone begun to beep.

I had no idea of who was calling because the number had no name stored to it.

“Helo dear,hope you’re fine today.I heard about your story yesterday and I wanted to confirm something from you.

Mansah my next door neighbour was the one calling.


I noticed that immediately she greeted me.

Women and gossip, they wouldn’t change because it looks as if they have been cursed by nature or something.

“Am doing well Mansah,what actually did you hear and from whom did you hear it.

“Oh dear,I heard some neighbours talk about how you and some policemen arrested
Enoch and a lady in a hotel and I just want to know if the lady was the one on top of
Enoch s------g him or Enoch was rather on top of the lady…

‘Please Mansah,I don’t have time for you so I will talk to you later.

I have a meeting due at ten this morning so talk to you later.


I hanged up because I didn’t want her to spoil my day getting me confused before my encounter with the panel that morning.

But who actually told this to the neighbours because I never remembered telling anyone about what had happened.

Her call came to me as a shock.I couldn’t imagine someone
was keeping track of my every move the previous night…..
