Must Read: The Wolf In Sheep

After the funeral, the Pastor being a husband that loves his wife truely mourned her for several days before everything came back to normal.



Even though she is dead her memory still lives in him…


Saturday night
the pastor slept off after a short devotion. He was having a very good night sweep until a terrible sound woke him up.

Pastor: Blood of Christ!!! He shouted as he spranged up. What is that?.. He looked around but couldn’t find anything… He was surprised if not confused.. He said a short prayer and got back to bed…


30 minutes later
gbim!! The sound came again but this time very loud and terrifying… And again the pastor spranged up, took his touch and summoned courage to go out and see what it was…

Blood of Christ!! He started shivering as he sighted a very strange looking object… He flashed his touch, lo and behold it was a very big snake, about 8ft tall, very huge and read to devour anything that comes close to it..

Blood of Jesus Christ! Blood of Jesus Christ!!.. He kept on shouting and murmuring prayers for God to fight for him..


This one is bigger than he can handle. He’s now sweating like a christmas goat ready to be slaughtered, though his faith is strong but his body was really shaking in anxiety, to be frankly he hasn’t come across such ugly right..

All thanks to God who made the snake disappear after few minutes of hot prayer.. Pastor couldn’t sleep again that night, he was wondering what brought such situation until God revealed to him that one of his high ranking members was attacking him.. God also told him what to do….


Very early in the morning, he woke up, had his normal devotion and prepared for service..


First in history he met Elder Ochi sitting in front of the church, being the first attendant that very day.. The pastor exchanged pleasantries with him and went to his usual position… Members started coming and the song leaders took over. The song service was a very nice one. After that, comes the sunday school, it was a very long one because the have so many things to tackle in the sunday school department…


After the long session, the sermonette and fellow crew mounted the podium…… Oh pardon my manners. I didn’t tell you that it was Elder Ochi’s turn to preach….. Well it was a very nice sermon advising evil men to quit evil and encouraging believers to make God their priority….. Before the closing prayer, the pastor took the mic…


Pastor: good afternoon children of God.
Members: good afternoon sir..
Pastor: today God is going to expose the devil..


The devil is seated right hear among us and God is ready to shame him now…

Members: amen!! There’s little noise and everywhere was calm again.. The pastor narrated his experience to the members and they were all surprised.


He then ordered everybody to start firing prayers, they prayed for a very long time before the unexpected happened…


Elder Ochi stood up, took his properties and was about leaving the pulpit when God arrested him..

He falled down and started rolling on the floor, the pastor ordered them to stop…
Elder Ochi: please don’t kill me, forgive me!!
Pastor: but you didnt do anything to me, so why should i forgive you?
Elder Ochi: i piloted the attack last night
Pastor: what!
Member:Hmmm first elder nawa o
Elder Ochi: i wanted to kill you because you can between me and your wife.
Pastor: what do you mean by that.
Elder Ochi: i was having affair with your wife, i also used her the other night to attack you with knife and i killed her because she was about confessing to you.. Hmmmm
members: blood of Jesus! Tufia! God forbid!!
Elder Ochi: i killed Mazi Ude so as to inherit his land..
Ugodiya: you devil so you killed my husband? It will never be well with you, God will surely reward you.


Please forgive me… I have been embezzling church money and i made many of the ladies unmarried and the married ones barren because they refused to sleep with me… Hmmmm please forgi… forgi…. forgive…. me…..(he stammered and have up the ghost)


The pastor breathed in heavily, shake his head and said a short prayer… May God do the right thing was his last word as he ordered the ushers to take his dead body out.. The church dismissed and that brings us to end of the story
