That same day at evening.

Jayjay and Lordrigo came to pick them as promised and drove them to Jayjay’s off campus apartment.
The ride to the apartment was short but it wasn’t boring either.
They soon got to the apartment and Viper and two other guys helped them with their luggages.
Few minutes after they got to the apartment they came down for dinner and retired since they were already stressed out because of their exams.

The bad guys had already arrived Enugu ‘the coal city state’ to eliminate their target.
Tunde: we will lodge in a hotel close to his apartment and from there we will be able to monitor his movement.
Mr. B: but we have to check if he is still in this state first.
Tunde: yes, that’s true, Chinedu lead us there immediately, you know the place right?
Chinedu: yes i know, let’s take a taxi.
The took the taxi and soon they got to Jayjay’s apartment, but they couldn’t enter nor scale the fence in because Viper and the other guys were doing their nightly check on the house, which they normally do before going to bed.
Tunde: the security in this house is a bit tight.
Chinedu: this is how all the cultists in the school live their lives.
Mr. B: but i heard that they have no rival in the school, that they’ve been arrested.
Chinedu: yeah, but they still have to be careful, cult group arises everyday.
Mr.B: well, from what i am seeing, he must be around for them to guard the house like this.
Tunde: since we are now certain that he is in there, we can retire, i already took care of the hotel booking.
Chinedu: alright.

The next day, Vanessa and Martha work up and helped to prepare breakfast for the guys. When they were done eating Jayjay decided to tease her a little bit.

Jayjay: apart from being sassy, i see you are also good in the kitchen.
Vanessa: keep insulting me, when i start don’t complain.
Jayjay: ha! Start please, i really like it when you do it.
Vanessa: Baby Onyemaechi!
Jayjay: what! I didnt say you can go to that extent.
Vanessa: well, i didn’t also ask you to call me sassy either.
Lor’d V: that is my woman, she really knows how to hit the mark
Jayjay: and thanks to you, her wings just got bigger and stronger.

later in the evening.
Lor’d V: well, this house is boring, let’s go out and have fun for a bit.
Jayjay: nah, i have to rest for awhile.
Lor’d V: we are all going, when i say all i meant everybody in this house, no excuses.
Viper: ha, boss, i have an appointment with one hot babe, i can’t miss that.
Lor’d V: call her and tell her that something came up. Well, in the absence of anymore excuse, let’s all get dressed and go have some fun, one that doesnt involve girls nor alcohol.
Vanessa: yes. (to Jayjay) should i carry your bed and follow you.
Jayjay: why do you always tease me like this. By any chance, do you love me.
Vanessa: in your dreams.
Jayjay: i don’t even like when sassy people invade my dream land, so that can never happen.
Lor’d V: hello, i am right here, don’t snatch my girl away from me in my presence.
Vanessa: that cannot happen, i don’t like rude guys.
Martha: but he is not rude.
Jayjay: thanks sis.
Vaness: stop sideing him, cos he is your brother.
Lor’d V: i am going to get dressed, let’s all come down here in five minutes time.
Jayjay: yes sir.
They all went to their respective rooms and got dressed.
Lor’d V: let’s go, we will take three cars.
Viper: okay, boss.
They got out and drove with Lor’d V’s car which contained Jayjay, Vanessa and Martha leading the way.
They soon got to their destination, a nice hotel in Nsukka known as ‘Ikenga Hotel’ unknown to them Lordrigo had already planned everything, so as soon as they drove in, the hotel staffs welcomed them and took them to a nicely decorated area in the hotel.

Martha: wow, this place is awesome.
Vanessa: it’s so beautiful, you only get to see this kinds of places in the movies.
Jayjay: Capon, this place looks like you arranged it for a date, it’s just too girly.
Vanessa: (hitting his stomach with her fist) learn to appreciate good things, baby onyemachi.
They all laughed and took their seats, with Vanessa and Lordrigo and martha and her brother sitting side by side, why the rest guys sorted themselves out.
Lordrigo ordered for expensive wines and expensive meals for them all. They ate their foods with cool music paying from the background.
Jayjay: this place, i must confess, is so nice and homely.
Martha: yes, it is, is he celebrating anything?
Jayjay: nah, i don’t know about that, something he just likes to treat his friends to a nice dinner in a nice hotel, maybe this is one of those days.
Martha: Lordrigo what are we celebrating.
Lor’d V: (rising up) well, we are celebrating the day i finally put a ring on the finger of that woman that has been giving me sleepless night.
Vanessa: (surprise) huh!
Lor’d V: yeah, on that note (kneels) V will you marry me and make me the happiest man alive.
Vanessa: (hugs him) yes i will
The other guys started to clap and began congratulating them
