Lordrigo had just arrived the compound of the Agaba’s and Jayjay came out to meet him.


Lor’d V: (shaking hands with Jayjay) jay, my deepest condolences, sorry about your dad.
Jayjay: such is life jare.
Lor’d V: how is your step Mum doing?
Jayjay: it totally affected her.
Lor’d V: i knew it will affect her, she and your dad were really into each other, have you told your mum?
Jayjay: no, not yet.
Lor’d V: your dad was really a principled man, i will really miss him.
Jayjay: i will miss him more, i was just beginning to feel like i really have a dad.
Lor’d V: (patting his shoulder) it will be okay…i know this is not the right time but, the guys that were after you claimed that someone sent them to kill you, i just want you to be careful.
Jayjay: oh my God! Not again. When did you meet up with them.
Lor’d V: just before coming, don’t panic just calm down, they also said they were behind your dad’s accident but what they have refused to say, is the name of the person behind all this.



Jayjay: (visibly angry) Lor’d, i am sure that they will know something about my dad’s death, let’s go there now.
Lor’d V: Jay, calm down, we will go there tomorrow morning, but for the mean time let’s go inside so you can take your bath and eat and besides, the police are already on this, am i right?
Jayjay: yes, you are right, the police have already started investigations, but if those guys are actually behind my dad’s death, i won’t spare them, i will kill them with my bare hands.
Lor’d V: jay, i said calm down, let’s go in, i need to see your step-mum.
Jayjay: alright, let’s go in.

At the police station, the police commissioner is seen adressing the other police men and officers.
Commissioner: we have a very serious situation on our hand, this man that was allegedly murdered is a public figure and we need to do our possible best and come up with suspects or people behind his death, even if it’s just to look good in the public eye.
Police Men: (salutes) yes sir.
Comissioner: officer, how far have we gone.
An officer: sir, so far sir, we have only come to the conclusion that he was intentionally killed, so we are trying to interview the witnesses to see if they can atleast give us the plate number of the vehicle that killed him.
Commissioner: good but not good enough we need to work at a faster pace.
Police men: yes sir.

Back in Lordrigo’s house, his mum is seen speaking harshly to Vanessa again.
His mum: his phone is switched off, have you finally killed my son?
Vanessa: ma’m, i am sorry but i don’t know why he switched off his phone, but he told me that he was going to the police station this morning.


His Mum: police station ke? To do what? Inshort i don’t want to hear it, just know that if anything happens to my son, i will kill you with these my two hands.
Vanessa: Ma’m i cannot hurt someone that i love.
His mum: did you say love? Let me tell you something, after he finish sleeping with you and using you, i am his mother, he will still come back to me and marry the girl that i have chosen for him, a girl from a reputable home…(hisses and walks out)
Vanessa: (sobbing) God, what is this? Why all this bad luck. Why was i even born into this world.

It was already getting dark, and the police commissioner have just arrived his home looking exhausted.
His son: dad, welcome.
Commissioner: where is your mother.
His son: kitchen.
Commissioner: (starts to walk into his room with his brief case in his hand)
His son: dad, i need to talk to you.
Commissioner: if the talk is about getting you a car. forget it.
His son: dad, why are you doing all this, am i not old enough to own a personal car.
Commissioner: (turns to look at him) you are old enough but not responsible enough, you need to prove to me that you are responsible enough to handle a car before i will get you one…(walks away)
His son: (goes to the kitchen to meet his mum) mum, why is your husband so tight-headed.
His mum: shut up, he is your dad.
His Son; he is my dad? And he has refused to get me a car when all my mates and friends have their own car, that is hard to belive.


His mum: it’s okay son, i am sure he didn’t mean it, he is just worked-up with all this issues with work.
His son: which issue?
His mum: well, chief Agaba, a popular Abuja business man was hit by a hit and run driver earlier this morning and your dad is the
one handling the case.
His son: how did you know?
His Mum: your dad called to tell me, and that is also why he came back late. Just give his some time, i am sure he will oblige to your request.
Son: i hope so mum, he better do o, i am running out of patience.


His Mum: oya, help me set the table before your dad comes out.
Son: yes mum.
