Comfort immediately spat out after hearing
Cassie’s dilemma.
“Comfort! How can you judge a man you have
never met!”

sleep with all these ‘big campus’ girls and I heard
how they don’t go past a round. Some are
womanizers, they are not all nice. Besides,you will
be stuck in Ife forever!”
“Comfort, why are you judging? Are you God?”

me. I don’t advise such relationship. Its always
complicated.”
“Comfort, you are complication yourself, so don’t
advice her on complication.” Courage shot back.
“See, Cassie,” Courage said, facing her.” There is
nothing inherently wrong in dating your former
lecturer. People have done it before and they
have been happy about it. The first thing you
should be thinking is if you like him enough to
date him.”

50 year old man.”
“Comfort, he is not 50, at least Cassie did not

diverting the whole talk from Cassie love-life,

“Hmnn,” they said she carried drugs.
“Ehen, every girl carries at least Paracetamol for
aches once in a while.” Courage said.
“Girl, na wa o! You think say na that kind of
drug she dey take about? Na……” Comfort
made some facial expressions like someone
sniffing a hard drug.
“That kind of drug? Linda?” Courage said after
understanding what Cassie was talking about,
“What is she doing with them?”
“From the news, it was said that she was selling
them to customers.”
“Ehen?! The same Linda! Hmn Ken was trying
oh!” Courage was saying as Comfort kept quiet
like she was in a daze.” Abi you dey buy cocaine
from am?” Courage asked Comfort, turning
suddenly to her.
“Tufiakwa! God Forbid! Who do you take me
for?” Comfort said, looking stunned and slightly
angry at Courage.
“Shebi na you dey go party pass, you wan talk
say you no sabi say dem they distribute drugs
at those parties?”
“Not the kind of party I attend, I only attend
responsible parties.”
“Like the one at Diganga?” Courage asked while
Cassie looked on, interested at the mental
tussle beginning to come up.
“That was a one-off thing, besides I don’t date
Tunji again. How can you think of me like that,
eh Courage?” Comfort said, looking misty.
“I meant no harm, I was just been inquisitive.”
“I can’t do such thing, its bad and dangerous.

Even if Tunji tried such, he will not succeed in
making me do so.”
“Ok o, was just asking. So what happened to
her now?”
“I read that she and her accomplices are in
detention. To think that she could do such
thing is scary.” Cassie chipped in.
