Roland and Elizabeth relationship blossomed, whereas he hasn’t broken up with Doyin yet.


Elizabeth changed Roland’s life, he stopped drinking, smoking, clubbing. Roland began to live a new life, his mode of dressing changed, removed his ear studs, cut his hair low. He became committed to God and church all because of Elizabeth. Elizabeth led him to a new life… He only wanted S£x with Elizabeth but something else held him closer to God. Roland started avoiding Doyin, Doyin was worried about Roland’s attitude. No more clubbing, hanging out or show of love on campus anymore. Ever since she aborted the pregnancy, Roland avoided her. Roland wouldn’t pick up her calls, anytime she visits him at home, he wouldn’t give her audience, sometimes he won’t even meet him at home.

She was confused.

So one day, Roland eventually called Doyin that he wanted to see her, he invited her over to his place…

In Roland’s room…

Doyin: Babe, what is happening to us? You’ve been avoiding me, not picking my calls, not having my time anymore. What is going on?

Doyin tried to kiss Roland, he moved his lips away…

Doyin: What is wrong with you? What is it with all these attitude? Ever since you started going to that your church, you’ve totally changed.

Doyin brought out, pack of cigarettes from her purse, lit a stick and starts smoking….

Doyin: Sweetheart, what is going on?
Roland was pissed with her smoking, puffing the smoke, he was irritated with her non challant attitude…


Roland: This is what I hate about you, this is exactly why I don’t want all these anymore.

Doyin: All what?

Roland: I’m tired of these relationship of a thing, you’re just a bad influence to me. I can’t cope anymore.

Doyin: Hahaha, what do you mean by that? ( she dropped her cigarette)

Roland: What I meant is that, I can’t date or even marry someone that smokes, club or live a dirty lifestyle.

Doyin quickly went on her knees…

Doyin: Roland what are you saying? We both smoke this thing together, you even taught me how to smoke, drink ….

Roland: That was in the past,mold things are passed away. I’m now a born again

Doyin: I will be a born again too, take me to church. I will stop smoking ( she damaged the cigarettes), see I’ve thrown it away. I will turn a new life I promise. Anything you want me to do, I will stop drinking, clubbing. Just take me to church. Please…

Roland: It is too late

Doyin: Too late? What do you mean? (Crying)

Roland: I’ve found someone else…
Doyin screamed…..
