Life continued peacefully for everyone except Doyin who was still heartbroken, she’s still in disbelief that Roland could do such to her after everything. She would cry, she doesn’t want to associate with anyone, she’s not eating, she’s not going to school, she wasn’t concentrating on her academics, she’s in her final year, most especially her final year project. Whereas Roland was moving forward happily, he had it all, he’s a new person, very active in church, he was excelling in his academics, almost done with his project, things were going fine with him and Elizabeth, he was fulfilled, he was happy that his mission is almost accomplished, he was happy he had someone so pure, so honest, so innocent like Elizabeth. Elizabeth actually changed him, ever since he met her, his life has changed for the better, Elizabeth was bettering him. They were compatible. People, neighbors started noticing something was going between them, they gossiped about the whole situation, how Roland dumped Doyin for the church girl. Some were happy about it cos Roland is changed for better, while some was so upset about it cos Roland betrayed and jilted Doyin.
