It was an early morning,I was with my mummy on the bed in the bedroom before we heard a knock at our door.

Mummy:who is that

voice:please open the door,I AM?

Mummy:dear,go and open that door.
I immediately went to the door to open it,lol and behold it was a man that always disturb my mum with a reason unknown to me.

Me:Good morning sir

man:Good morning my son,i’m here to see your mother.

Me:enter please
he entered and sat on the sofa located in our sitting room.

I went to the room to tell my mum who the man is and his purpose for coming here.

Mummy:stay in the room and i don’t want to see you out untill the visitor left here.

Me:ok ma
I wasn’t comfortable for the instructions that my mother gave me.Today na today,i will know the reason why this man comes here(i said within me).then I tip toed to the entrance of the sitting room so that i will hear there conversation clearly.

Man:how are u dear

mum:who is your dear,morover why did you come hear early in the morning.

Man:i came here because of what i have been asking you for since

mum:look,as I am now,i don’t want any man in my life again,What concern me now is my sole son

man:please,i love u,i am also doing this because of your son,you know if u accept me i promise to give him sound education.

Mum:I don’t need your help,make use of the door now(she screamed)

mum:i will leave but think twice.

I heard the sound of our door which alert me that the man had left.I quickly rushed inside the room.

My name is Bolaji I am ten years old,i grew up to know önly my mother,i have never seen my father and i have never asked my mum when there is no need for that.I am in primary 5.
