We arrived the village field with joyful mind.we were discussing mirthfully because of the overjoyous in us.

Emma: bolaji,how come the man choosed us to work with him instantly without doubting..

emma: na so my life don change for this village.I will be working and collecting wages.

Me: funny guy,that means our destiny is similar because since I saw u,I mean since we are together,my life has changed,I slept alone,I eat alone,I used to do everything alone before but everything have changed since you are with me.

Emma: likewise I,before,I laugh less than I cries,I eat less and talk less but since I met u everything had changed.

We shook hands and hugged eachother.

Me: today is the fourth day I’ve seen biodun last.

Emma: who is Biodun?

Me: biodun is my girlfriend.

Emma: so u get girlfriend.

Me: ofcourse yes.

Emma: where is she living.

Me: she is living in the village of Falade.

Emma: may be we will visit her tomorrow because we will go to the sea to swim today oo.

Me: really! You do swim.

Emma: yes I do.

Me: oya lets go home to prepare and to inform Ayo.

Emma: who is Ayo?

Me: Ayo is my closed friend,his house is located behind our house.

Emma: oya,let go quickly its already 5:00pm.

We left the village field for our house,we changed our dress and about to exit the house.

Me: emma please grant me 2mins I wanna take something.

I went in and came out with my gun and fishing equipment.

Emma: I think we are going for swimming not fishing or hunting,why are we going with gun and fishing equipment?

Me: i may find unfortunate animal on the road now.morover anything can happen,I have to take these things along nw.

Emma: ok no problem Baba Ode

me: funny guy,lets go jor.

We exited the house and headed to Ayo’s house,fortunately he has ready.

Ayo: what were you doing since.

Me: I’m sorry jawe.

We headed to the sea directly,we were discussing and laughing that we didn’t knw when arrived the sea.

Emma: oh boy,this sea is wide more than ours in our village oo.

Me: see this one,abeg off your dress quickly and lets dive into the sea jor.

We all undressed and dived into the sea,we were enjoying and happy because the thing sweet die.

I suddenly suggeted for us to do swimming competition to the next river bank,that I will give the first position something.

<<<>>>we started the competition,to my greatest surprise Emma was leading us with widely varrying gap,suddenly I noticed that the water is flowing with high speed, I stopped but Ayo and Emma didn’t stop since they didn’t notice anything,by that time we were already at(in) the middle of the sea.I remembered that my mother told me that when this thing is happening that means there is the presence of a big cobra in the water.I shouted Ayo and Emma’s name with fear.they ansewered me immidiately.
Me:please start swimming back to where I am now.

I remain in my position inorder to find out if there is the presence of cobra in the water indeed.in less than two mins Ayo and Emma has arrived where I was.suddenly I sighted a big multi-coloured snake swimming vigorously on the surface of the water.

Ayo! Emma! Swim as fast as you can now,we must get to the river bank before this snake will see us inorder to avoid story that touch.

“yeee,moti ku loni(I don die today),the death I ran away for is finally approaching me now.

We started swimming toward the river bank,but the cobra had sighted us from behind and Ayo with Emma couldn’t swim fastly because they have tired,but the snake is swimming towards our direction with high speed.

Is this how I will lose my friends?(I said within me)
