My Adventure With My Street Chicks - Season 1 - Episode 89

I got to my house and showered, took some rest and was preparing to go to school when my phone rang again and it was Juliet’s. “Hello dear”. I said into the phone. “Hello, na wa ooo, to pick your calls now na war abi? Or do you want me to beg you before you pick”? She blared into the phone. Having dealt with different varieties and kinds of girls, I know how to treat them and when to treat them. “Baby, calm dow and ask me what happen first. What if I tell you now that about 30minutes ago was when I am touching or seeing my phone since yesterday will believe”?. She paused without waiting for her I continued. “My phone was seized in the hall, and I was so fortunate no Expo was found in it and the supervisor that seized it happens to know me if not you won’t be talking to me on phone for a while”. I explained as she listened attentively.


After speaking for some while we decided that we are gonna meet that day and we hung up the call. I went to school that day and I noticed Jenny was a bit moody, I asked her what the matter was and she told me I should not worry that she will tell me after the paper that is our 3rd to the last paper, after writing that one, we will write another one by afternoon and the last paper the following day.



As we finished the first paper, I went to Jenny and asked her what happen and she told me that she has missed her period for that month! My mind fly to heaven and didn’t come back again, I tried to find my mind but no way, how do I cope with this? I couldn’t find a word, I was trying to relate it with what Blessing did but I noticed Jenny won’t lie. “You have not seen your period or you missed it”? I asked. “What did I said before? I said I missed my period”! She blared. “Sorry baby it hasn’t come to shouting, you know, you cycle might change and you won’t see it when you think you will that is why am saying if we can still hope for some times”. I tried to calm her.

“Mr man, am pregnant you don’t need to beat around the bush please, the question is how do we take care of it”? When I heard that ‘take care of it’ I was mute, take care of what? Me? Father a child now? My parent? Her parent? Jenny my wife of at worst baby mama?……………
