THE RESCUED

My first night in the cell was something i couldn’t describe if only i could see another place more scary than hell. The two demons with me inside the cell gave me beating that is more than the afternoon after that they urinated in my mouth i didn’t know I could survive that moment, the worst part of it was that i didn’t sleep throughout the night because i was fanning the two demons it was around 4:30 that Goliath asked me to go and rest before i explain why i came to the cell.

I slept off within 2 minutes because i was dozing all throughout the night. Again i saw my mom i was not happy seeing her because i was seriously angry with her and my father, she noticed that

” my son i know you are really suffering but that is your fate but if you want to become someone in life you have to endure it”

“yes that is it , how long am i going to endure tell me Infact i hate you for saying that, ” i thundered .

” my son you dont have to be angry with me, i am not happy seeing you suffering but”

“but what, what have you done about it”

” yes i ve done alot, very soon you will be released ,but remember you must endure ”

I was about asking another question when a hot slap landed on my face which makes me to jumped on my feet. Gracious God scary slapped me, why this morning again

” you want to sleep till eternity?” he asked without me replying, i was beaten

Again that morning before i was asked to narrate my story infact my bad story.
Tears gulped down from my eye immediately ,they were surprised at me, i could see the eagerness on their face, i clean the tears on my face before i narrated my ordeal to them then i saw the shock of my life.

Immediately i finished my story the two monsters were already crying, i was surprised why they were crying or maybe their story is similar, until scary voiced out
” human being are so wicked ” what did i just heard wicked, so he didn’t remembered how they were beaten me yesterday and today.

They were touched by my story since that day i became their friend and brother, they never treated me badly again.

Inside there i get to know about them .
Goliath whose his real name is okoro from rivers state was also a police who was serving as a bodyguard to one of the high ranking officer, he was a good man not until the man’s daughter returned from America and fell for okoro, she couldn’t hide her feelings for him. One day she invited him to help her clean some dirt inside her room, but her real intention was to forced him to sleep with her, but okoro was not interested even though the girl is seductive but he maintained that he can’t sleep with his oga daughter. Seeing that he’s not ready to cooperate she threatened to shout which she eventually did at the end of everything okoro was arrested of rape, that was how he found himself in the cell.

Scary own i mean segun that was his real name was from a poor family but one politician intended to marry his sister but he didn’t agree to it that the man can never married his sister when he’s alive this makes the man to get him arrested without any charge ,his intention was to kill scary but his sister kicked against it bringing the cell suggestion.

” i heard they are now marry their children will die untimely ” he would always cursed.

I was ushered out by another officer into the DPO . He was sorry for me in my new state.

” sit down ” he pointed to the chair before him,
” sir did she die?” i saw myself asking , he hesitate for a while before replying me

” but why did you want to kill her”
” sir she is my sister i can’t kill her it was a mistake ” i narrated everything to him, gracious he believed me

” thanks God she didn’t died but sustained little injury, well i will talk to my friend ”

It was later i got to know that my uncle and the DPO went to the same school, he revealed to me how he love my father because only few brother could did what my father did for my uncle and for him also. Tear fell for my eye immediately he was surprised seeing me crying

” what is wrong ” i was speechless but after much persuasion i opened up from my mother burials to my suffering and to this moment. He was deeply sorry for me and the same time dissappointed in my uncle

” i can now see why your father kicked against jimi marrying that woman, don’t worry you will be released today.
Later in the afternoon i was ushered into the DPO office there i met mama timo and one member of our family, they couldn’t but pity me when they saw me
[b]” he will be staying with me for now until jimi calm down just make sure you keep begging him and please don’t tell him the boy is with me” the DPO concluded before they left later in the evening i followed DPO to his house.
