Google Nigeria has presented To us with the top trending searches for the month of July

As expected, the deadly Ebola virus was the number 1 trending term in Nigeria. According to Google, the heightened fear of the virus and other related health issues resulted in the surge of interests in the search. The Hamas-Isreal conflict also generated massive buzz. Jude Okoye‘s wedding to Ifeoma Umeokeke is closing in on fifth – It was his brother, Peter Okoye‘s absence that really got people searching.
The doctors’ strike also came in 4th.

And of course the winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria winner Iheoma Nnadi got people talking.
