“Wizkid is the number 1 artiste of the decade” – Twitter users crown Starboy for his consistency

Wizkid Ayo Balogun has blessed us with marvelous sounds over the last ten years, from how he has consistently stayed at the top of charts and keeping his finger on all the changes to our sound.

For this reason, the Ojuelegba singer has been crowned as the Nigerian artiste of the decade, by a twitter user who agrees that the Starboy is ending the year on top.

Wizkid’s hard word in the last 10years has been evident, also the talented singer has done well to maintain his relevance and managed to grow through the ranks.

The Twitter user, Joey, who hailed Wizkid for being consistent in his craft wrote on Twitter;

“The Nigerian artist of the decade is WIZKID. Nobody comes close to him.

No one has carried our music the way he has for so long, while consistently staying at the top and keeping his finger on all the changes to our sound, and evolving to meet those needs at the highest level.”
